Maya's POV

I'm pretty sure if I could rate my pain on a scale of 1 to 1-10 right now, it would be an 11.

I woke up this morning and realized that Aunt-Flow had visited me in the night. Lucky me.

It was already the last two days of our trip and now I was really miserable.

We'd spent the last week at the beach almost every day, going shopping with Ben's grandma, and making the most of the warm weather.

Just the thought of going back to 30-degree weather made me want to scream.

I stood in the elevator of the Hard-Rock hotel, on my way up to Will's room.

My boyfriend's room. Gosh, it was still weird to say.

The big game was tomorrow and he said he wanted to see me because we probably wouldn't get to see one another after the game. I'd be on a flight home by the 14th.

Normally I'd be excited but I was literally bleeding so...I'd rather take Advil and sleep my period away.

I leaned back against the rail of the elevator, feeling another sharp pain in my lower abdomen.

The doors dinged open and trudged my way down the long hallway. I passed a bunch of rooms until I found his.

Just as I was about to raise my hand to knock, I turned to my left hearing footsteps passing me.

Monica and I made eye contact and she turned, walking towards the elevator.

She was dressed in a short red dress and black heels. I watched as her blonde hair bounced with every step she made.

She made it to the open elevator and walked inside. With one turn around, she fixed her gaze on me and glared.

I turned back to the door just as I heard the doors ding close.

Gosh, I couldn't escape this girl.

I readjusted my afro and wrapped my arms closer around my stomach. I was wearing a big grey crew neck sweater with no bra, with orange shorts and black converse sneakers.

I knocked on the door and tapped my foot in anxiousness

I knocked on the door and tapped my foot in anxiousness. If I didn't sit down soon, I'd pass out.

I should've just stayed home.

For some reason, ever since puberty hit, I'd been cursed with having the worst period cramps of all time.

It sounded like an exaggeration but I'd passed out one time because of my cramps.

I leaned against the frame of the door and it whipped open in a fury.

Will stood there in a yellow long sleeve sweater and light blue jeans.
