After about 10 minutes of walking, Casey and I finally made it to the front of the house.
We don't really walk around this side of campus. It was where all of the sorority houses and big dorm houses were.
The bright lights and loud music illuminated the house. Next door there was another party going on.
The whole block was filled with people in costumes making noise.
We walked up the walkway and in front, stood people in various costumes trying to take a group photo.
Casey and I walked around them and headed towards the front door.
When she opened it, a zombie's face popped out and screamed "boo". She punched the face right in the nose and the person fell over.
"What the hell?!" She screamed.
I couldn't help but laugh as the person on the floor clutched their face, clearly in pain. The guy lifted up his face mask and laughed, "It was just a joke, relax."
Casey rolled her eyes and we moved around him, entering the main hallway.
I thought the music was loud outside, but it was way worse inside.
I could barely hear what Casey saying so she grabbed me and pulled me into the downstairs bathroom.
Once we got into the bathroom, she shut the door behind her and the music finally muffled. "Go find Will and have some fun okay?" She readjusted the mask on my head. "I'm gonna go look for Ben. I will meet up with you later."
"Okay," I said already feeling nervous. I didn't even know why I was nervous.
I hadn't been to a college party since freshmen year and I was actually a little scared. But I also didn't want Casey to feel like she has to babysit me.
"Text me if you need anything." She opened the door and Ben stood there with a smile on his face.
"I thought I saw you guys come in here." He said.
Casey and I both looked at each other in disbelief. Ben looked...well hot.
