I chuckled slightly and shook my head. "Does that usually work for you? The cute little remarks and that nice smile." I teased.
He gave me a sheepish look of surprise. "Most girls would be flattered at my attempt to flirt with them."
I scoffed and s...
Casey laughed and stuffed a dumpling into her mouth.
"I miss my grandma's dumplings. These just don't taste the same." She grumbled.
Casey was half Chinese and Korean. I've slept over at her house over the summer enough to know what she's talking about.
We sat outside one of the dining halls at a table under a tree.

It was around 1 something now and we both didn't have class until 2, so we always had lunch around this time.
"I think this is actually great. Now you finally get to answer your questions." She winked at me.
"This isn't funny Case. I've got nothing. How am I supposed to write a story about something I have no experience in?"
"You act like every person in your class has had their own experiences in love."
I gave her an annoyed look.
Aside from a boyfriend I had in 6th grade, I pretty much have been inexperienced for the past 11 years.
"Okay. I get it. You're not technically wrong. But that's because you don't have time for boys. You're always working and studying and writing papers."

Casey's bubbly and adventurous nature has piqued the interest of many guys since I've known her. But she usually drops them after two weeks because she doesn't want to be "tied down."
I think she's really just afraid of commitment, but what do I know. I've never been in a committed relationship before.

The doors to the cafe opened and a bunch of cheerleaders walked out holding cups of coffee talking loudly.
I recognized the girl in the center of their circle as Monica Sterling. I don't know much about her except or the fact that she's the captain and is basically sure in for NFL cheerleading.
I'm not a stalker, I promise. I'm apart of the College newspaper team and the majority of our articles are sports-related.
A small blonde girl came out from the back of the large group and waved at me. She quickly walked towards our table.
"Oh God, here comes Barbie," Casey whispered.
"Shh," I said laughing.
"Hey, Maya." She smiled at me and her hair bounced slightly.
