Max's POV
I lie in a strange bed, thinking...reflecting on all that I've gone through...how far I've come from being that scared little boy...

A much younger Max looks out of the window as he can hear screaming and sheer panic as his mother scoots him from the window.

"¿Mama Que pasando por ahí?"(mom, what's happening out there?), the young boy asks.

"No lo sé chico, pero tenemos que esperar a que vuelva tu papá ..."(I'm not sure my boy, but we need to wait for your dad...), Mi mama says as she takes my hand and leads me up to the attic where my sister lays, trying to sleep.

My mother leaves the room to gather supplies...however...that's the last I would ever see of her...

"No por favor, deja a mis hijos solos!"(No please, leave my children alone!), I could hear her plead.
