Finnick groans as his ears are ringing.
The top of the arena is shattered and he looks around for Y/N.
"Y/N! Y/N!", he screams and suddenly he sees a body, Enobaria's.
He tosses her body aside and sees the unconscious male lying there.
His eyes widen as he checks his pulse, he has one, barely.
He picks him up bridal style and suddenly a bright light appears.
He stands before it holding the male.
Time Skip...
Y/N's vision was hazy.
He's in a white room.
He looks around and realizes he's strapped to a few machines.
He sees Beetee and Katniss to his side and groans as he gets up.
He detaches the wires which send them in a loud beeping noise.
He stumbles out of the room and he sees Finnick and a man with white hair standing over a control panel.
"Morning sleeping beauty...", Finnick says smirking.
"Where the hell am I?", Y/N asks.
"We're on our way to district 13...District 12 has been destroyed", the man with white hair.
"Who are you? Where is my family? Is district 8 alright-", before Y/N could bombard the man with questions he speaks up.
"Now Y/N, I know you have many questions...my name is Plutarch Heavensbee...your family, and Cecilia Sanchez kids are waiting for you...District 8 is better than we are right now...", Plutarch says.
"Where Peeta and Johanna?", Y/N asks.
"They're both captured...our plan backfired and now they're with the capital...", He says.
"What...katniss...are you going to get them?!", Y/N asks.
"That's not our biggest worry right now Y/N...", Plutarch says.
Y/N glares at him and grabs a knife lunging at him.
Finnick holds him back and Y/N mutters.
"Finnick! Our friends are captured because of him! We need to...ah...", Y/N felt a needle being pressed into his skin and some liquid being seeped into his bloodstream as he reaches for Finnick and everything goes black.
He sighs as he wakes up in a bed.
He looks around, it looks like a bunker of some sort.
And then he hears a small pair of footsteps walk up to his bed and jump on him.
"Y/N!", Teddy shouted excitedly.
Y/N was overjoyed to see his baby brother, he picked him up and kissed him everywhere.
Soon a few more pairs of shoes entered and it was Jack, Liz,,,,,, and Tim.
The reunion was amazing as Y/N hugged his siblings then he noticed James standing at the doorway with Volumnia, Baise, and Rayon.
Y/N sighs as he gets up and hugs James.
He turns to the three kids, Volumnia looked up to him with tears in her eyes and Y/N hugs her closely and motions the other two to join in.
He can tell the death of their mother was hard on them, he wasn't going to fail them.
He kissed Volumnia's forehead and said.
"Your mother wanted me to take care of you...just know I'm going to always be here for you, no matter what...", he says before pulling her back into a hug.
Finnick knocks and opens the door and sees the young girl with tear stains and Y/N holding the two younger children.
He sighs as he steps in and wraps an arm around Y/N.
He can't help but catch James's eyes as the two silently glare at each other.
After a while Katniss wakes up and Y/N hears news of her wanting to go to district 12.
"Katniss...I've heard this of what happened to twelve...please be careful...", Y/N says.
"I will...", she says as she feels the slightly smaller male wrap his arms around her.
She returns the hug and walks away to board the flyer.
Y/N sighs as he sits in his bed and sees Teddy toddle in and he hugs him excitedly.
Finnick smirks as he stands in the doorway and says,
"Aren't you the motherly type..."
"You can read me like a book...", Y/N said sarcastically.
"Y/N, sorry I feel like I can come to you for this but...the capitol has Annie...I'm really worried about her...", Finnick says.
"We'll get her back...", Y/N says reassuringly.
"In the meantime.", Finnick begins as he stands Y/N up and gets on one knee.
"Will you marry me?", Y/N gasps as Finnick reveals a beautiful engagement ring.
"Yes! Thousand times yes!", Y/N squeals as he jumps into Finnick's arms and hungrily kisses him.
As the three celebrated James stood in the doorway and sighed, just walking away.
