Y/N sighs gently as he was getting ready to be shot up to the arena.
It was a sleepless night and all Y/N could think about was Cecilia's kids.
He had been talked to about the rebellion from the capitol and Y/N repeatedly stated he was neutral.
He wouldn't do anything to endanger his siblings or Cecilia's kids.
Y/N sighs as he steps in facing his stylist Crystal.
C:You have everything? Your allies?
Y/N:Finnick and Mags...
Y/N rolls his eyes.
C:You have your game plan...?
Y/N:protect Katniss and Peeta...
C:and most importantly yourself... Do great out there kiddo...make me proud!
She ruffles his freshly dyed hair and kisses his forehead.
C:oh here...you need to wear this so 12 knows your on their side...
She hands Y/N a gold encrusted heart locket.
C:finnick wants you to have it...
Y/N rolls his eyes and puts it on.
All too soon they're separated by glass.
Y/N looks at her and then sees figures in black costumes come in and grab Crystal.
Y/N:GET OFF HER!NO!LEAVE HER ALONE!
He banged on the glass as they brutally beat her to death.
Her face pushed up against the glass as Y/N cried desperate to get out and save her.
Y/N:Crystal...
He was being pushed up and he desperately leaned down to see her until he stood up and looked around.
They were surrounded by water.
He glared at the careers and tucked his hair back.
5...4...3...
He glared at the cornucopia and gets ready.
2...1...BOOM!
Y/N dives in and swims as fast as he can.
He reaches a black path and sees Gloss right behind him.
Y/N instantly springs to the cornucopia where he grabs his blades and begins picking off opponents.
He spots Katniss.
He sees a female tribute charge at her and he stabs a hole through her abdomen.
Y/N:Kat, you seen Celia?
K:I didn't see her leave her stump...
Y/N feels a strong hand on his shoulder and he and Katniss instantly turn around with their weapons, ready to kill.
F:relax... we're all allies right?
He turns and glares at something behind katniss.
He shoved Y/N backwards.
F:duck...
Katniss ducks and Finnick digs his spear into the man's chest.
F:don't trust 1 and 2...Y/N you look gorgeous...
Y/N:eyes on the prize Odair...
F:Why do you think I'm looking at you?
Y/N chuckles and continues his search for Cecilia.
Y/N swims to shore and hears a scream.
Y/N's eyes widen.
Y/N:Celia?!
He runs to the scream and sees the careers surrounding her.
Y/N desperately needs to help her but suddenly feels himself toss his knife at the careers.
They stand on alert leaving Cecilia's barely breathing body on the ground.
Y/N steps out of the shadows.
C:Y-Y/N...
Y/N:n-no...not here...
Y/N carries her to the beach and lets her look up at the sky.
C:Y/N...t-tell...Volumnia...Baize a-and Rayon...i love them...
Y/N:Cecilia please don't talk like that! I'll make sure you get better...
C:Y/N,you will be the last one standing...you've grown so much since I started training you... You've taken great care of your siblings...please...don't let my kids become orphans...
Y/N sniffles.
Y/N:Celia...I'll take them under my wing...and train them to be the best survivor they can be...
Cecilia smiles and her breathing slows until shes no longer breathing.
There's the sound of a cannon and Y/N sees the crane getting ready to take her away.
He sees a glimmering light around her neck and he takes it as the crane reaches down and grabs her.
Y/N cries seeing his best friend and mother figure get taken away.
He tosses his knives angrily and promises to take down the careers.
Time Skip...
Y/N had barely eaten anything.
And he didn't care.
All he knew was that his best friend was gone and he needed to survive to take care of her kids.
He sighs and suddenly sees fog.
Y/N reached out to touch it, and was met with a rash on his hand.
Y/N hisses and starts running from it.
He stumbles down and lands in a pond.
He sighs feeling relieved when suddenly he hears a splash and sees Katniss,Finnick and Peeta.
Y/N gulps as he splashes towards them and helps Katniss.
Y/N:Come on! This way!
Y/N helps Katniss up and the four make their way deeper in the woods.
However the four stop dead in their tracks when they realize they're surrounded by orangutans.
Y/N looks over to Finnick and glares back at one of them.
Y/N:Say the word...
K:Y/N...not yet...
One jumps down and Y/N immediately slices at its fur.
The four immediately disperse as they attempt to hold off the rabid monkeys when suddenly Y/N sees one go for Peeta.
Y/N:PEETA LOOK OUT!
Y/N goes to help him however he trips over a branch and one of them tries to get him.
Y/N:gahhhgh! Finn!
Finnick looks over and spears the orangutan through the midsection.
Y/N and the others were being backed up when suddenly Peeta yelped and y/N turned to see a woman who had leaped in front of Peeta from the Orangutan, preventing him from dying.
Y/N finally cuts his way out.
Y/N:this way!
Y/N sees Peeta carry the limp woman.
K:leave her! She's dead weight!
P:she saved me!
Y/N:it's true! Now we have no time let's get moving before we become monkey food!
Y/N helps Peeta carry her until they make it to the shore.
Peeta sets her down as she whimpers.
Y/N turns to Finnick.
Y/N:Finnick...you saved me....why?
F:I-I...couldn't stop thinking of them... Cecilia's kids.... I knew they'd be orphans without you...and your siblings...they need you so much so I couldn't-
Y/N cuts him off with a kiss.
He wraps his arms around the taller mans neck and kisses his lips filled with passion.
Finnick kissed back wrapping an arm around his waist pulling him closer.
Finnick whispered into his ear.
F:I couldn't stand to lose you...
Y/N smiled at him.
Y/N: don't get sappy on me Odair!
Y/N said pulling him closer.
F:your the one who kissed me!
Y/N:fine I take it back...
Y/N said playfully.
F:No you're not...
Y/N was pulled into Finnicks arms, wrapping his legs around his waist.
F:your mine now baby boy...ever since you volunteered for your brother...you've been mine...
Y/N moans as he hungrily kisses Finnick allowing him to explore his body.
Suddenly their make out session was interrupted by the sound of footsteps.
Finnick sets Y/N down and ducks to see who it is.
Suddenly he yells.
F: JOHANNA! JOHANNA!
There's three bloody figures and one jumps up.
JH: FINNICK?! FINNICK?!
Am I the only one who shipped Finnick and Johanna?
