Zuko sighs as he approaches the docks, he looked up the trail and back to where Y/N was. He had gone ahead, leaving him with his uncle Iroh.
Zuko trudged forward, the nervous feeling being replaced with anger...
How could he have let himself forfeit Y/N's love? How could he have been so stupid?
Now was the time he had to figure out those questions and prove his worth to get his lover back.
He seen the area where he would fight... it was open space in the forest, it would be dangerous for his anger to get the better of him and cause him to lash out, sending the entire forest into flames...
Zuko looked to where Y/N stood, beside him his eyes widened as he seen Aang and Katara and Sokka.
A shorter female steps forward.
Zuko gives Y/N a weird look, and suddenly he's blind sided by Toph's rocks.
He is rolled on the side and he quickly regains his stance as he shoots flames at her.
She gasps and stumbles back before shaking her head and raising rocks to deflect the flames from her.
Zuko's eyes widen and he rolls down the side of a short hill.
Everyone cheers as Toph is about to be announced as winner, when Zuko feels the anger boiling in himself.
He pounds the ground, sending a snake shaped fire spiral in Toph's direction.
The flames connect to her dress and there is a slight panic before shes drenched in water by Katara.
"Did...Zuko just win...?", Sokka asks.
"I'll...give him that...", Toph says sighing.
Y/N walks up to Zuko.
"Now... i need you to join Aang and help us take down General Fong and your father...but first...I need you to retrieve my heart...you must fight Haru...", Y/N says.
"Y/N...but...", However before Zuko could respond Aang and Sokka give him a look.
Zuko looks around and says,
"I dunno..."
"Zuko...please...I've seen how your father and sister are...you're nothing like them...what will you gain from catching Aang? I need you to do this for me...", Y/N says.
"Alright...Y/N...whats my next task?", Zuko asks sighing.
Time Skip...
Haru steps forward.
He glared at the other boy he would be facing and the two stepped forward.
"Well, we just gonna sit here staring...let's dance...", Zuko says coldly as he and the earth bender get ready.
Zuko throws in a cheap shot, shooting flames at the boys side.
Haru groans in pain and Zuko uses the opportunity to shove him on the ground.
Zuko goes to step forward, while Haru looks around for anything on the ground, dust flying around and he instantly sends a dust storm into the face of Zuko.
Zuko coughs and he's blown back as Haru lunges at him.
"Guys!", Katara exclaims as they start rolling around on the ground.
Zuko's fist collides with Haru's face.
He feels himself being shoved off and Zuko goes to use his blade on Haru.
However his blade collides with another set of blades...
He looks up to see Y/N's fan has collided with his and he looks back to see the shorter male staring into his eyes.
Y/N performs a quick sweep underneath his feet sending him flying onto his back.
Zuko gasps as Y/N steps towards him.
Zuko stands up and shakes himself off.
They're so close to each other...and Zuko leans in, kissing Y/N.
Everything turns white and Y/N feels his heart beating faster than ever.
"Zuko...", Y/N whispers.
"I...I'll help you defeat Fong...", Zuko says as he hugs Y/N.
