It had been just over a month since the girls parents had passed and although things were getting better, it was hard to remember they'd never see them again.

That's why on the morning of their 17th birthday, instead of the usual excitement their was nothing felt but sorrow. This was the first time they would not be getting a birthday card from their parents, they would no longer see their moms elegant handwriting slightly smudged from being in a hurry to send a letter, they would never again receive one of Anthony Evans famous bear hugs.

Everything was different now that they were gone and although their friends respected their wishes and let them have the day to their selves, the moment the clock struck 12:00 am, signifying that their birthday was over. New havoc took a toll on the girls lives.

It was one of the rare occasions were Ivy opted to sleep in the girls dormitory, wanting a night to herself. That's when she woke up to a pure white owl tapping the window, Pandora?

Reluctantly Ivy pulled herself out bed and although barely awake the 2 sentences on the note sent adrenaline bursting through her veins.

Ivy, Ophelia
It's starting, the prophecy.
I'm pregnant.

-P.L

Without a second thought Ivy tip-toed over to her sleeping best friend before gently shaking her awake. "Bloody hell Ives! It's midnight!!"

Ivy simply rolled her eyes expecting nothing less for her dramatic friend. Shoving the note in front of her face was all it took the raven haired girl to become alarmed.

Neither one of the girls slept that night, instead taking the chance to openly talk about this down in the common room where they had safely snuck Pandora in after sending a note back to her.

"How far along?"

"2 weeks"

Ivy although quiet and seemed relaxed sitting in the maroon coloured couch was actually freaking out. In the dreams Pandora, Ophelia and herself all had children the same age. She was going to have a teen pregnancy. At least she only had a year and a half left, letting her mind wander to her blonde friend sitting in front of her slightly teary eyed. Pandora was only 15, was she ready to be a mother?

"Do you know who the father is?" The question seemed to just slip out of Lia's mouth without thinking. The girls hadn't recalled Pandora taking special interest in any boy really.

Observing how the bubbly girls cheeks and hair became tinted with rose as she more than likely began thinking about the father. There was something else Ivy watched cross through the girls eyes though, regret maybe, no- anger. Never in the 4 and a half years of knowing Pandora Lestrange had Ivy ever watched negative emotions run free within the careless blonde beauty loved by all. Sure she would get upset and cry but most was just do to being hormonal nothing to serious. Yet, as Ivy sat studying her friend, she fully understood as the name left her mouth.
