Epilogue

The next few years were indeed hard on Ivy and Scarlett Black, as everyone in the wizard community treated the mother and daughter like they were just as "insane" as Sirius Black or simply pitied them. Rumours spreading wildfire about the two, leaving it hard for Ivy to even find a job. Not like Ivy wanted to leave the cottage much anyway, she wasn't the same anymore. When Ivy Black lost her twin sister she lost a part of her soul, but when they took Sirius Black away from her, Ivy lost a part of her min, her heart, Ivy Black lost a significant piece of herself and anyone who knew her well enough could tell Sirius would be the only one to fix it.

Ivy had only attended one court hearing after the war came to an end and that was the case of Bellatrix Lestrange. Her old friend had been charged with furrowing Alice and Frank Longbottom into insanity, along with the help of both Lestrange brothers and Barty Crouch Jr.

Pandora made her appearance at the trial as well in support for her brothers and sister in law. The blonde witch knew her brothers were long gone the moment they joined the dark lords army, but she always had hope that the brothers she knew were still in there. It was also shown how broken Bellatrix had become, almost as if losing the war for her triggered something where she no longer believed in hope for herself. Because although her friends and a few family members had been on the side of good, Bellatrix knew her life was always destined for sadism, no matter how much she hated herself for it.

Narcissa took it upon herself to take custody of Cerise Lestrange, the barely one year old girl would never be able to remember her mother they way they had in school, her mother would also be a death eater.

Remus at first was always there and would often be Ivy's support, while she was his. As time grew on however, Remus continued to distance himself from the family, as he couldn't continue to listen about Sirius's innocence, or maybe it was because whenever he saw Ivy he was reminded of everyone else. When you saw Ivy you thought of Lily, when you talked to Ivy you thought of Ophelia, and whenever Remus saw Ivy and Scarlett together he was reminded of the marauders, his brothers. After 1986, Remus stopped coming by the cottage.

The Weasleys were a big help when it came to providing meals and helping clean the cottage for Ivy. All of the kids tried their best to cheer Scarlett up about losing her dad, but the only only who ever really brought the young girl comfort in the growing years would be Fred. Of course it always helped when Ginny began to get older, Scarlett finally had a little sister figure to look out for.

Over time however Ivy noticed small habits that Scarlett had picked up, like reciting all 79 of Jupiter's moons whenever she was nervous, or drinking a cup of lavender tea with honey every morning. Ivy's favourite habit her daughter did our do all of them however was asking Ivy to braid her hair before bed every night, just like Lily had done with her. That was when Ivy realized just like herself, Scarlett had OCD.

Ivy was shocked when Fred had begged her to show him how to braid, so he could do it for Ivy while they were away at school. It made her heart happy to know Ivy had someone who embraced her OCD, rather than question it.

Ivy and Molly were very proud to hear the nears that the twins and Scarlett had all been placed in Gryffindor. 1989 brought a lot of joy for the Black family as, Ivy could finally see and hear her daughter become happier, since Sirius was taken. Hogwarts did always have that affect in people. 1989 also brought Scarlett's first letter home, which addressed how herself and the twins had become good friends with two others a boy named Lee Jordan and a girl named Poppy-Lynn Lupin. However the year also brought the unexpected death of Pandora Lestrange, after an experiment went horribly wrong.

1991 came around quicker that Ivy could've expected and nothing could stop the tears that swarmed her eyes as a boy who resembled James, but had Lily's eyes tapped her on the shoulder asking for directions to platform 9 and 3/4. It wasn't long after that when Ivy was granted permission to tell Harry who she and Scarlett were, and although Harry still couldn't live with his aunt and cousin, Ivy was allowed to visit him. Petunia pretended like it bothered her, but a Ivy knew otherwise.
