The Cullen's had a nice house. They did not have nice tea.

Taylor's Mom was polite in her drinking it, taking small sips between her turn in the conversation. Trying her best to hide her distaste. Taylor's Father threw the whole thing back like a whiskey shot in hopes of not having to endure the taste as long. But it stuck in your mouth afterwards. So he wasn't having any fun. Taylor declined tea and instead had a glass of water. Esme was so sweet that neither parent wanted to complain about the tea. And Taylor was happy she didn't feel the need to.

"It must be so strange that we haven't met before. I'm so sorry about that, we're not used to having neighbors at all really." Esme mused.

"It's perfectly fine, we're in the same boat. Or well, not really. We've been on the road mostly. Being in one place for so long feels different. And I suppose we haven't been very neighborly ourselves being as the first time you met me was when my daughter passed out in your front yard. Hahaha." Mother took another sip of tea after laughing. She tried to find something to talk about, it was awfully quiet. She wasn't used to doing the talking and wasn't sure why her husband wasn't stepping up like usual. Perhaps he didn't feel well again. "You know, your house feels so nice. There's a nice aura to your living space which makes it feel welcoming beneath the strange feeling of danger!" She meant that as a compliment. Times like these she was just as bad as her daughter socializing.

"Thank you?" It was quiet again, the room was so quiet Taylor could swear she heard her parents sipping maybe even breathing. She coughed and nudged her father with her foot, he wasn't paying attention.

"Oh? Oh! Yeah, you have a nice place. And the tea? To die for." He burst laughing at his pun. "HAHAHAHA it's a little joke, ya know for the purpose of why we're here and all. Hahaha f-forgive me."

Taylor instantly felt like being anywhere else.

"So, let's talk about how we need to approach this." He started.

"Let's get to know each other first! I never saw your daughter in school." Alice grabbed Taylor's hands, who was very much not a touchy-feely person. "Did you just move here? Are you graduated? Or, or senior year?"

"I am 24 years old." Taylor deadpanned.

"Oh! You look so young, well I suppose you're still young. Only 24." Alice mused. Taylor smiled. She was only 24, not 40. This girl only just graduated last year, she isn't much older than her. But Alice was making her feel very old. She decided to change the subject.

"I was surprised when Dad told me how easily you believed them yesterday. Usually, it takes something drastic for us to get called in."

"Well, we aren't strangers to the unusual ourselves. My Jasper's an empath." Alice looked proud.

"Ah, a poltergeist would really wear him down in time. It's good you've a mind to get rid of it." Mother said. Socializing would come later, now was a time for business. "My daughter believes that the poltergeist is a manifestation of the spirits which have attached themselves to your son. Thus, it is attached to your son because of them. However, it is still drawing its energy from the spirits emotions at the moment and its been doing so for a very long time. If we are able to move the spirits on then the poltergeist will lose a substantial amount of power. At the moment it has physical weight which is very dangerous. Trying to dispel it now without first taking away its main food source could prove extremally dangerous. However, it may become aggressive whilst Taylor tries moving the spirits on."

"Will the process of removing the entities be a lengthy one?" Carlisle spoke now, the first he had done so since greeting. Leaving all the talking to the women. Jasper was nowhere to be seen strangely enough.
