The Girl in The Window [JENLISA] ✅

Chapter 3

School again, Lisa felt very lazy on the second day of school. She still felt so sleepy because she couldn't sleep all night. The image of the girl standing behind the window she saw last night still lingered in her mind.

Actually when she got home, she wanted to go to the balcony of her room to check more clearly, because apparently the room where the girl was seen was right across from hers. And it has a balcony as well facing Lisa's room balcony. But Lisa was too afraid to do it. In fact, she had got of bed to peek through her bedroom balcony glass door, but she stopped her intentions.

She tried to see the window of the Kim's house when she left for school this morning, because the route to school she had to pass through the Kim's house. But she didn't see anyone in the room where the girl had been seen last night.

Who is the girl I saw last night? Is that the daughter of the Kim’s? But why didn’t she come down when my mom and I visited her house? Why was she only peeking at me through the window? Did her parents lock her in the room? But why? Questions raced through hier mind that she didn't even notice when Rose called out to her repeatedly.

"Lisa ... Lisa ..."

"Hey, new kid." Jisoo kicked Lisa's chair from behind and snapped her out of her reverie.

"What are you doing, huh ?!" Lisa snapped at Jisoo while glared her.

"Are you deaf?! That smart kid called you so many times." Jisoo said.

Rosé finally approached Lisa, "Lisa, Mr. Lee told me to take you around the school. Let's do it now during our breaking time."

"I don't think that's necessary," Lisa answered, resting her head on the table. She hugged her bag and closed her eyes.

"But-"

"Maybe next time, I'm sleepy now." Lisa interrupted Rosé's words.

"Okay ..." Rose replied softly.

"Rejection always hurts." Jisoo smirked and winkend at Rosé.

"I don't need your opinion, Chu."

"Are you hoping that all students and teachers will like smart girl such as you?"

"I don't mind at all that you don't like or even hate me."

Rosé looked at Jisoo then left Lisa's table. While Jisoo only grinned seeing her left.

After school, Lisa hurriedly tidied up her books and walked quickly to leave class because she saw the sky was so cloudy. She didn't want to get caught in the rain because she didn't have an umbrella.

"Oh shit .. !!" She cursed as rain poured down just as she stepped out of the school gates. She and several other students ran back into the school building.

Lisa snorted in annoyance because she couldn't do anything but have to wait for the rain to stop. She saw Jisoo is driving a fancy car leaving school.

"Rich man daughter," she muttered.

"Hi," Rosé greeted Lisa and stood next to her. Lisa gave her a small smile.

"You didn't bring an umbrella?" Rosé asked.

"Do you think I would be standing here if I brought it?" Lisa replied.

Rosé giggled, "You're right."

"Do you want to come home with me? My driver will come to pick me up in some moment."

"Thanks, but I don't think so."

"Come on, Lisa. Why do you keep refusing my offer?"

"I don't want to bother you, Rose."

"Who said that? I don't feel bothered at all. Come on ..." Rosé pleaded. "Is your home far from school?"
