In her restlessness, Jennie tries to find a diversion. She tries to find another conversation. But unfortunately, she couldn't even think."Oh, really? H-he didn't see me sitting here?" Only that can came out of her mouth. She fixed her hair, trying to manage her nervousness.
"Uhum, I just told him that he should go to the doctor to have his eyes checked. I thought he should have replaced his minus glasses."
Jennie looked at the food counter. "Aaaah, yeah ... you're absolutely right, Lisa. I think he should replace her minus glasses." She smiled, heaved a small sigh of relief about their conversation.
Within a few minutes, a waitress delivered Lisa's orders, placed those in front of her.
"Why did she place all the orders in front of me?" Lisa grumbled while moving a cup of warm milk in front of Jennie.
Jennie only gave a slight smile at Lisa's words. "Hey, it's okay. Can't you see they're so busy roaming around serving customers."
"Yes." Lisa blew her drink before sipped it.
"Now, eat your Kimchi fried rice. It tastes really good when it's hot."
"Actually, I don't like hot things. Except you, hehehe."
Jennie laughed lightly at Lisa's cheesyness.
"You know it's too cheesy, right?"
Lisa giggled and started scooping out her food from her plate, blowing it and soved it into her mouth.
"So what do you think?"
"Hmmmm .... Not bad."
"Not bad?"
"Yes, my mom can cook better than this."
"Really?"
"Yes." She spooned it again and led it into her mouth.
"Give the rate about the Kimchi fried rice then."
"Uhhhmm ..." Lisa thought while chewing. "I gave it an 8 out of 10."
"Okay." Jennie nodded multiple times.
"By the way, how many times have you been here, Nini?"
"Erm ..., I don't know. Several times, quite often because the owner of this restaurant is my friend's father. J & J stands for Jisoo & Jin."
"Jisoo? Your friend?" Lisa stopped chewing and widened her eyes.
"Yes, she's my best friend."
"That bastard student?"
"Huh, what are you talking about? Do you know Jisoo? Could it be ...."
"Yes, we are in the same class."
Jennie gasped, covered her mouth with her hands.
"Even, my seat is in front of her."
"Oh- I didn't think you were in the same class."
"I don' understand, how can you be friends with that bratt?"
"Bratt?"
"Yes, you said you are her best friend. How could you not know that she is a troublesome student."
"Oooh- She's back to how she used to be?" Jennie looked down with a sad expression.
"Wait, you ever told me about a lazy student and you helped her to change. Is it her? Jisoo?"
"Yeah, but I guess I failed."
"Hey, don't be like that, Nini. It's not your fault." Lisa tries to make Jennie not sad. "Rosé said Jisoo became like that after her mother died."
