"That was an amazing show!" Louis hugs Harry straight after he comes off stage and kisses his cheek.
"Babe, I'm all sweaty." Harry says trying to take a bit of distance from Louis.
"Are you joking, Haz? I suck your dick on a daily basis, mostly more than once. I think I can handle your sweat." Louis jokes.
Louis' hard and direct words make Harry blush. "Okay, let me just take a shower and change and we go to the bus, okay?" Harry quickly pecks Louis on the lips and Louis nods. "Yeah, be quick Hazza. I want to go."
Only half an hour later Harry is freshly showered and wearing a new set of clothes. "Let's go to the bus." Harry takes Louis' hand but Louis shakes his head.
"No, come. Follow me." He drags Harry to the exit where a car is already waiting for them. Louis steps in the back but Harry is still standing in front of the car.
"Are you going to step in or are you going to stay there alone?" Louis chuckles. Confusedly Harry steps into the car and Louis kisses him when he is sitting finally down.
"Where are we going?" Harry asks when his lips leave Louis'.
"It's a surprise. I'm quite sure you will like it." Louis takes Harry's hand and plays with his fingers. The boys don't say a word during the rest of the drive which is only a short 15 minutes.
"Close your eyes." Louis orders Harry. He takes Harry's hand helping him out of the taxi and then places his own hands in front of his eyes, slowly leading him towards the restaurant. When they are inside, Louis removes his hands.
"Mister Tomlinson, mister Styles. It's an honour to have you here. Welcome in 'The heart of Rome'. We hope you have an outstanding time here. Please don't worry about the time being here. Stay as long as you want. Let me bring you to your table." A girl in her early twenties leads the couple to their table. It's on a high balcony, candles being the only light. It has a beautiful view on the city and you can see the Colosseum from up there.
Louis walks up to Harry's chair, shuffling it to the back so the curly boy can sit down and then sits down himself. The girl disappears again, not needing to take any orders as Louis already ordered everything for the night.
"Lou...How?" Harry is totally speechless as he watches over the town. Louis takes Harry's hand in his making them rest on the table.
"I know how important it is for you to go on a date here in Rome so I fixed it. It was your pouting face that convinced me." Louis winks.
"But... This is supposed to be closed. I checked it." Harry is happy he is here but also really confused.
"Nothing that a bit of cash can't fix. Oh and being Harry Styles' boyfriend helps as well."
Harry looks at his boyfriend with heart eyes. He can't believe Louis arranged this for them. How did he deserve someone like this?
"You know you don't have to spend a lot of money on me on dates. How many times have I told you this, boo?"
"I know. But yet we aren't married Haz so it's not like you can really decide on what I spend my money. And I want to spend it on you. It's no big deal. Even if we are married one day."
Harry feels butterflies in his stomach by hearing the mention of marriage.
"Do you think one day we will be married?" He whispers.
Louis nods confidently. "Yes. If it's not with you I don't think I will ever get married. But I want a big ass ring, Styles. If not I don't want it." Louis jokes. "Oh and it must be under the Eiffel tower. If you don't propose to me under the Eiffel tower with a big ass ring giving me your declaration of love it's a big fat no."
"Greedy much, huh." Harry plays along.
"What can I say? My standards are getting high you know, you being my boyfriend." Harry leans over the table and Louis does the same, making their lips connect. Their relation is so serious and full of love yet so playful and full of jokes. It's perfect. They wouldn't want it to have it any other way.
"A starter to share... The carpaccio?" The girl comes back with one plate of carpaccio, topped with parmesan.
"A starter to share, Lou?" Harry asks when the girl left.
Louis nods. "Yeah, I'm going to be completely honest, Hazza. I'd rather share a starter with you than the dessert. I know normally couples share the dessert but I don't want to share that so I thought why not the starter? Dessert shouldn't be shared and I don't know which idiot had the idea to make that the part of the meal to share. It's the fucking best part."
Harry shakes his head fondly as he cuts a piece of the carpaccio and holds it in front of Louis' mouth, feeding his boyfriend. "You are something else, Lou. I love you."
After they finished their starter the boys just talk, kiss from time to time until the main comes. It's a huge pizza in the shape of a heart and Harry's eyes immediately light up with the sight of it.
"Did you pick this?" Harry asks. Louis nods. "Yup, I did. I thought it was CHEESY! You get it? Because it's pizza?" Louis is laughing with his own joke and takes another sip of his wine.
"God, Lou you are such an idiot. I can't believe I fell madly in love with an idiot."
"Yeah, that is really PIZZARE! YOU GET IT, HAZ? BIZARRE, PIZZARE!" Louis is even laughing louder then he was before until Harry stands up, walks towards his boyfriend and kisses him deeply. Louis responds immediately by pulling Harry closer to him.
Both boys finish their pizza and after they each finished their OWN dessert, Louis stands up and takes Harry's hand.
"Tonight was perfect, Lou. Thank you so much for what you have done. You are the best boyfriend ever. I love you" Harry whispers when they leave the restaurant.
"Don't think that was it, Hazza. It's only the beginning. It will be a long night, just you and me."
