Walking around, I felt someone's eyes on me, so I cast a glance to the side of me and at the other side of the hall, was someone watching me, very closely.

"Guys, left side of the hall, someone's keeping a close eye on me for sure." I said to Zoie and everybody else in my earpiece we had given out earlier this evening.

"Is it time to split?" Katrina asked.

"Not yet. I'll nod when it is. Keep an eye out for me."

"Okay."

Zoie and I slowly made out way to the drinks table where I picked up a glass of red wine and drank some. Slowly, Harmony and Daphne made there way over here as well.

I nodded my head at them and hopefully everybody could see, but if not.

"Switch."

I slowly watched the 4 of the pairs in the crowd split and find someone else. Harmony and Zoie walked off after nodding at me. Sam made his way over here, picked up a drink, nodded at me and then him and Daph walked off.

I stood there for a few more minutes before I walked off myself. I walked around by myself for a few minutes, watching the people dance, walking over to the band and seeing what song was next. Normal stuff a host of the gala would do. I think.

"May I have this dance?" I heard from behind me.

I turned around and standing there was a woman, slightly taller than me with dark, dusty, blond hair.

"Of course." I said with a smile, and I took her hand she extended towards me. She led me to the dance floor just as the next song started playing. Of course, it had to be a slow song. Just my luck.

The music started and we started the classical dance chorography that went with the music.

"Long time no see, Scarlett. Or is it Astoria, I can't remember."

"It's Scarlett. Is your name Elizabeth, or do you want me to call you Lizzie still?"

"Elizabeth is fine. Lizzie is my nickname for people who don't abandon me."

"I didn't abandon you, I was spotted and taken back to the school. I didn't have a choice. They wouldn't listen to me when I said there was another girl in the house."

"of course, they wouldn't, no one ever listens to you, do they?"

"Elizabeth, that was 12 years ago, why are you still holding on to it?"

"Because you promised me a happy life full of adventure and freedom. But all I got was a camera shoved in my face, my face all over the news and shipped off to another boarding school in Scotland."

"I know. I read the newspapers."

"Everybody did."

"I know. I was quite popular."

"I shouldn't of promised you those things. I was 7 and I had no idea on what I was doing."

"Was that an apology?"

"No. You killed my girlfriend. I'm never going to apology to you."

"Oh, was that her? Oops, my bad." She said was an evil smirk on her face.

The song ended and new one started playing so we continued dancing.
