Chapter 36

Scarlett's POV

I don't know how long had passed but I let the silent tears fall into the sink until they stopped and then I washed my face with some water.

I faced Elizabeth and our eyes locked. She took a few steps towards me until she was right in front of me.

"What are you do-"

But I didn't get to finish my sentence before Elizabeth's lips were on mine.

Elizabeth's POV

I had no clue on why I just kissed her, but she wasn't reacting the same way and I was about to pull away.

Scarlett's POV

I felt she was about to pull away, so I kissed her back which surprised her, but we kept kissing. She wrapped her arms around my waist, and I wrapped my arms around her neck. We both needed to breath, so we pulled away.

After we caught our breath, our lips were on each other's again with Elizabeth's hands resting on my hips. Before anything else could happen there was a knock at my door again.

"Your popular." She mumbled kissing down my neck avoiding the cut and moving towards my collarbone.

"Lizzie," I breathed out.

"What Scar?"

"I need to go and see who it is."

"They can come back later, when it's light out." She mumbled into my neck.

"Lizzie. I'll be back in a minute." I said and walked out of the bathroom making her stay there.

I opened the door to see Mel standing there.

"Mel. What are you doing here so late?"

"Alison couldn't sleep cause she was worrying about you so I said I'd come and check on you."

"Well as you can see I'm perfectly okay but I'm really tired and I want to go to sleep."

"Of course. Night Scarlett."

"Night." And I closed the door and sighed.

"You alright?" Lizzie said from the bathroom doorway.

"I'm fine." I said as she walked over to me.

"You sure?" She said backing me into a wall.

"Yes." I managed to breath out before her lips were on mine again.

"Liz." I said as she started kissing my collar bone.

She mumbled a what into my skin.

"We need sleep. Especially if my neck is to heal."

"But-"

"No buts Lizzie. We need sleep."

She sighed but stood up and I kind of wished I didn't say anything.

"Okay. I'll see you in the morning Scar."

And with that she walked out of my room and to her own. I lied on my bed and fell asleep soon after.
