The Midnight Gang

Chapter 17

As the sun sat high in the sky, the light shone through the curtains I woke up with a massive headache. I sat up holding my head groaning, I looked at my clothes and I was still in my dress form last night, and realised Michael's jacket was over me like a blanket. Must have left it here last night. I stumbled out of bed after taking of my heels and I got changed into a pair of sweatpants and hoodie. I pulled my hair up into a ponytail after taking my up-do down and the tiara off. I then made my way downstairs.

"I need tea and pan killers."

Alyson laughed.

"Coming right up. Want any food?"

"No, I might throw up if I even smell it."

"Right. Because you got drunk and couldn't walk back to your room without falling over."

"Don't remind me."

"I won't speak of it again."

"What time is it?"

"Almost 1 in the afternoon."

"Okay."

I took the pain killers and drank some of my tea when the doorbell rang. At this point Alyson had wondered off to make sure everybody else was feeling okay.

"I'll get it."

I walked over to the door and opened it.

"Hi." Michael said.

"Hi? What are you doing here?"

"Well, your father sent me and Antonio to make sure you're all okay, so basically keep an eye on you, and I also came back for my jacket I left here yesterday."

"Right, come on in then. Ignore the mess and the state of everybody, especially me, and I guess, make yourself at home?"

"Okay." Michael and Antonio walked into the house.

"I'll grab your jacket. Hold on." So I ran up the stairs, grabbed Michael's jacket, told everybody that Michael and Antonio were here then ran back downstairs.

"Here you go."

"Thanks. Antonio, please take this to the car."

"Okay." He took the jacket and walked out the house again.

"So, father sent you?"

"Yep. Just to make sure your all protected good so no one can hurt you."

"We can protect ourselves but okay. I'm going to make a cup of tea and then relax in the living room. Make yourself at home, I'll be in in a minute."

"Okay." And he walked the way of the living room.

I made a cup of tea for myself and Michael and took them to the living room. I passed a cup to Michael and sat on the other end of the sofa he was sitting on then turned on the TV.

After the tea had been drank and Michael seemed a bit more comfortable, I started to fall asleep. Now, the sofa wasn't big, it had two seats. So, we were basically sitting next to each other. He must have noticed me falling asleep as I faintly remember him wrapping an arm around my shoulders and holding me close to him. A few minutes after I fell asleep.

Michael's POV

I could tell she was falling asleep, so I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and pulled her close to me. She fell asleep after that. I must of too because I don't remember finishing the episode playing on the TV.
