I had spoken to my friends through the earpiece and met up with all of them and quickly explained what happened between me and Elizabeth, only then had I remembered the piece of paper she gave me and I quickly read it. 'Meet me in the east wing before 3 am – ES'.
"Shit, guys I have to go."
"Why?" Adrian asked
"Elizabeth slipped me this note and I says to be in the east wing before 3 am."
"We'll come with you." Zoie said.
"No. I have to do this on my own. I'll be safe. Okay."
"Promise me?" Sam and Poppy said.
"Can't make that promise. But I'll try and be as safe as possible. Got to go. Bye." And with that I turned around and ran to the other side of the ballroom and towards the east wing.
"She's gonna get hurt, isn't she?" Alison asked.
"Yep. But she'll be fine. It'll Scarlett. She can protect herself. Now let's split before we start getting questioned." Astrid said.
