The next thing I know was that I was waking up, everybody else passed out on the floor. I was confused for a bit until I looked at Elizabeth and realised the bleeding had stopped.

I turned to everybody else and started to wake them up and then I turned back to Elizabeth and she was sitting up.

"Lizzie? You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Not even a scar. What happened?"

"I don't-"

"A light burst out of you." Zoie said.

"What?" I said.

"You know those books about magic and fantasy I always read? Well, it was like that." Daphne said.

"No. Magic isn't real." I said, getting up. Shaking my head, not believing anything they said. I turned and ran, all of them calling after me.

I paced back and forward in my room trying to think of any possible logical reason for what just happened. Then there was a knock on my door.

"Go away." I said but they just opened the door anyone.

"Scar? You okay?" Lizzie said from the closed doorway.

"Do I look okay? Like 5 minutes ago you were bleeding out and now your fine and walking round without a worry at all."

"Scar. If magic is true. If you have magic, then you can help us. You can heal your neck. You can fix stuff. You can protect us 10 times more then you would normally be able too. This is a good thing, not a bad thing."

"But what if it's not a good thing? And why now? Why did it show up now?"

"In books it's normally because the person they love the most is in mortal danger."

"Impossible."

"Not impossible but it's not the time to talk about that. Try and heal your neck." She said as she guided me to the bathroom.

I starred at my reflection for a while until I undid the bandage around my neck. I starred at it as the cold air hit it.

"What do I do now?" I asked.

"Heal it. You healed me. You can do it to."

"I didn't know I could heal you. And you were dying. I'm not."

"Heal it. You can do it. I know you can." She spoke.

I held my hand up to my neck right next to the start of the cut and focused. I imagined it healing and slowly a red glow flowed from my fingertip and over the cut which was slowly healing.

Once it was fully healed, I lowered my hand to reveal a small, white scar where the cut was.

"Wow..." Lizzie spoke from the doorway.

I turned around and looked at her, "What is it with you and doorways? Get over here." I said with a smile.

Once she was in front of me, I looked up and smiled. Our lips crashed together.
