night changes pt. 2

"What happened, Y/N? Why are you crying? Is this about Draco? Did you tell him how you felt?" Pansy asked, when she saw Y/N in the edge of the staircase, crying her eyes out. She didn't show up at dinner so Pansy and Theo when looking for her and after a few minutes of looking for her.

"He-He asked Astoria out to go with him at Hogsmeade. I'm too late. I-I thought he likes me, I thought that he will always like me. I guess I am too late. I guess I should've told him I like him...Merlin I'm such an idiot!" Y/N said as she burry her face on her palms. Theo sat down beside her, rubbing her back to comfort her. He glanced at Pansy, asking her for some advice or what to do with Y/N. He has no idea what to do with her because he has never seen Y/N cry like that in front of him. He waited for Pansy to say something and she seemed like she was thinking of a way to make Y/N feel better. All they can hear was her terrible sobs and the foot steps of a few students passing by in the other corridor near by. The silence and Y/N's sobs were deafening.

"We can have a sleepover in my dorm, Y/N. A girls night. I'll invite Millie and Julianne and we can al have a  girl's night. Do you like that?" Pansy asked Y/N. She looked up, and faced Pansy. Her face was red, even her nose was red, her cheeks and eyes were red as well. Tear stains were seen in her cheeks, flowing down from her eyes to her jaw. She forced a smile, appreciating her friend's effort in making her feel alright, making her feel better. 

"That would be lovely, thank you, Pansy." 

The following days that followed, Y/N was ignoring Draco Malfoy. It was one of the things that she debated on doing because she absolutely hurt and devastated. Her regrets were making it feel more worse. Every night she would lie in bed and the thoughts of telling Draco Malfoy what she feels makes it worse. What if she told him earlier, what if she wasn't afraid of what will happen and just agreed to go to Hogsmeade with him. Is she finally happy? Will her and Draco work out? The possibilities are high because she knew that he liked her too. But now that she was too late, all she can do is cry every night and think of all the things she could've done wit him and all the things that she could've felt when she was with him because she would want to experience all those things but she was just too late. 

Whenever she would see Draco Malfoy in the Great Hall with Blaise, Theo and Pansy, she would only say hi to Blaise, Theo, and Pansy. Of course, Draco was confused. He thought they were okay, he didn't know that he did something wrong. Whenever he would pass by her in the corridors or in the hallway, she would totally ignore his presence which confused him too. Whenever he would try to talk to her, sit beside her in the Great Hall, she would always get up and leave, without saying a single word to him. He wanted answers and he wanted to get to the bottom of this, because he valued his and Y/N's friendship, and even though he asked Astoria on a date, he still got feelings for Y/N and Y/N still means a lot to him. 

When asking Y/N wasn't working because she was avoiding and ignoring him so much, he tried to asked his friends, specifically Pansy and Blaise, who he thought were more closer to Y/N than Theo. All of them had the same answer: "We want Y/N to tell you herself." because they respected Y/N and her right time, and they didn't want to get involved or to rush things out because they knew that Y/N will eventually tell him, when they had the chance to talk. For days their answer would always be like that, they would always change the topic whenever Draco would bring it up, they would always try to talk about other things aside from Y/N because they knew, especially Blaise, that if they would talk about her, he will eventually give in and tell Draco what is happening for he was tired of seeing his friend, Y/N, suffer because of Draco Malfoy.
