"Y/N?" Draco yelled from across the common room. He was looking for Y/N the whole day, and he finally saw Y/N by the fireplace, reading a book. It was her natural habitat. She's always seen by the fireplace, cuddled there with a soft fluffy blanket wrapped around her body while reading a book or doing her homework.

"Y/N!"Y/N seem to not hear Draco. She was so invested with the book that she didn't notice him yelling her name. He sat down beside her, amazed at how she was able to focus so much despite the noisy and loud environment. It was an hour before dinner, and all of the students in every grade are done with their classes for the day, so they were gathered in the common room to pass time and wait for the dinner bell to sound. Some are starting with their homework, some are trying to take a nap, and some are just chatting with their friends about what had happened during the day.

"Y/N, I have been looking for you everywhere, where were you?" Draco asked Y/N, but she didn't look up or showed any signs that she was listening to him.

"Y/N? Hello?" Draco said, shaking her lightly. She was finally back to earth, and she looked up and saw Draco, standing in front of her.

"Oh, hello Draco. I'm sorry I didn't see you there." Y/N said, placing her bookmark in the page where she last read and she put her book down beside her. Draco only smiled and kissed her in her temple, then proceeded to grab the bean bag beside Y/N that was empty, and he placed it beside her. He then wrapped his arms around her, something that he didn't do today because he didn't see her that day.

"Where were you? I went  looking for you everywhere but I can't find you." he whispered in her ear.

"I was in class." she said, rather coldly. This made Draco frown.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" he asked, concern can be heard in his voice. He wasn't sure if he did something wrong yesterday when they spent time together because they didn't even talk to each other, the just cuddled in his bed while he naps and she reads her book, and he certainly knew that he didn't do anything before they saw each other that day. he was busy looking for him and she was busy doing...something. He doesn't know because he haven't spoken to her the entire day.

"You were talking to Astoria, again. What are you both really?" she said, irritated. Draco removed his arms that were around Y/N and he massaged his temple and sighed heavily. Y/N can tell that he was pissed off as well. Y/N brought up Astoria again, Draco's best friend.

"I--She's my best friend, love. Don't worry about her."

He keeps telling Y/N that. He keeps reassuring her that Astoria was just his bestfriend but Y/N doesn't believe him. She knew that Astoria likes Draco because Y/N is not naive. Y/N knew that Draco cares for Astoria a lot too, but he just doesn't want to admit that. Its not that Y/N doesn't trust Draco--she just doesn't trust Astoria. She knew Astoria Greengrass, and she knew what that girl was capable of.

Yes, Draco might not be cheating on Y/N since he and Astoria are not even dating, but somehow, Y/N can't help to think that Draco also likes Astoria, even though he is dating Y/N.

"But she likes you, am I right?"

"But I don't like her back because you are the only one I like. Please, love, trust me on this one, okay?"

"Fine." Y/N sighed. She doesn't want to argue anymore because she doesn't want to fight with Draco. She has to admit, she did miss Draco and was actually looking for him during their lunch break. But she saw him with Astoria, so she just went and went and sat with one of her best friends, Pansy.
