"Okay, so, here's what I've been thinking about…" Sam started, as he walked around the apartment with AJ, a smile on his face as he envisioned everything he was talking about. "See, that's my bedroom. As you know. And I have a queen-sized bed. Now, if you don't want to, you don't need to sleep with me. I mean… Lay down to sleep. You can sleep there and I'll sleep on the couch for a while until we get two single beds if you want. In any case, we can put a crib in there with us while the baby is still young and then, we can put him here instead."
"Sam, this is your office." AJ frowned then, when Sam pulled open a door just beside his bedroom. "We can't do that."
"Yes, we can."
"Where are you going to work?"
"In the bedroom? In the living room? It doesn't matter." Sam shrugged. "Look, if we take out this desk from here and move some of these books out of the way, it's more than enough space for a nursery."
"Sam…"
"Don't even try to deny it. It is." Sam argued, stepping into the room as he pointed out a few different spots in the room as he spoke. "Look, we can put the crib here and a nursing chair, some drawers and dresses over here and a box for toys and gifts that the guys are definitely going to get us. We can hang a mobile over there, just over the crib and…"
"You really thought this through, didn't you?" AJ smiled softly as she stood there, leaning against the doorframe as she watched him with his eyes shining with excitement at the mere thought of having her and their son there with him.
"I did." He admitted, without even batting an eye as AJ felt her breath getting caught in her throat. "And you can change whatever you want. Decorations or… Or if you think that something is missing. We can do this together, I just… I was just suggesting. Oh, also, you can change the whole living room. I mean, my apartment is darker than what you like, but we can change it. I mean, we'll probably have to get rid of that center table with all the edges anyway and the…"
Sam stopped talking then, when he felt AJ's hand gripping him by the shirt and pulling him down so that her lips were on his in a passionate kiss. Sam widened his eyes in surprise, but before AJ could even question her decision, Sam melted into her, pulling her as close to him by the waist while minding her bump.
They stood there for a second or two, diving into each other in Sam's office that would possibly become their son's nursery soon. Carefully, Sam took a few steps forward while AJ walked backwards, their lips still attached to each other's while they walked out of the office and into the living room. Sam was quick to help AJ lay down on his couch, hovering over her as they kissed, before pulling back from her for a second, smiling a bit when AJ kept her eyes closed still after losing contact for a bit. Sucking in a deep breath, Sam looked over at AJ as she opened her eyes, her deep green eyes to look into his with a smile.
"I hope our son has your eyes." Sam whispered as AJ giggled.
"No." She shook her head then, reaching a hand over to brush her fingers through his hair. "I hope he looks like you. Maybe when he grows up, he'll grow up to be as handsome as you."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah." She breathed out, her eyes traveling down from his eyes and to his lips and then back at his eyes. "I love your eyes. And your lips. And your whole face. I love your personality and your goofy sense of humor and your voice. I love your singing voice."
"You have a lovely voice too." Sam smiled, speaking in the same tone as her, afraid that, if he said anything any louder, he would burst their little bubble of softness around them. "And I love your eyes too. And your smile. I love the sound of your laugh, especially when I'm the one that's making you giggle. And I love your hair. I just… I just love you."
