"How are you feeling?" Santana asked, as she sat down beside AJ in the living room of Sam's and hers apartment while the whole group reunited for yet another potluck.
"Not great." She admitted. "I can't wait for this baby to be out, not gonna lie."
"Honestly, I can't wait for him to be out either." Santana smiled. "I can't wait to meet the little guy."
"Yeah." AJ nodded then, smiling down at her stomach as she ran a hand over it. "I'm excited too. But enough about me. I feel like we've only been talking about me these past few weeks. Tell me about you. How does it feel being an engaged woman?"
"Oh, it feels great, AJ." Santana smiled, looking across the room to where Brittany was standing with Kurt, talking to him. "I love her so much, you know? And having her as my fiance is just... It's perfect."
"Well, I'm glad." AJ smiled. "I'm happy for you. Both of you. You deserve happiness."
"Thank you."
"And what about the party? Are you thinking about it yet?"
"Well, you see..." Quinn said, as she walked up to the two women and sat down on the arm of AJ's chair as she placed a gentle arm around the woman's shoulders. "As the best friend, I've been trying to get Tana and Britt to sit down with me and discuss wedding stuff, but they never want to."
"Why not?" AJ joined in the teasing as Santana sent the two of them a glare.
"It's not like that." Santana rolled her eyes then. "Britt and I just to enjoy our engagement. I mean, it's not even a month since I've asked her to marry me."
"I'm just saying... If you want an autumn wedding, we should probably start planning now." Quinn shrugged as AJ gasped quietly.
"Oh, an autumn wedding would be so pretty." She sighed. "You and Britt would look so good in fall colors."
"Right? It's what I said!" Quinn agreed. "Reds and oranges and yellows are so their colors!"
"They really are."
"Oh, no, don't you two start." Santana rolled her eyes. "If you keep on talking like that, I might just make you two plan the whole thing."
"Don't tempt us, Santana, because we might." AJ laughed as Quinn nodded.
"Just the give the word and we're on it." The blonde smiled as the Latina laughed.
"I'm not even that surprised." She said.
The three women laughed again, but before anyone could even say anything else, Sam walked up to them.
"Hey, ladies. I'm sorry to interrupt, but dinner is served." He said, extending a hand toward AJ as the woman smiled at him. "Come on. I'll help you up."
And so, AJ grabbed Sam's hand in hers and allowed him to pull her up. She could feel both Quinn and Santana watching her closely and she would've rolled her eyes at their protectiveness, but, before she could, she frowned, feeling her head spin a bit and stumbling forward into Sam's arms.
"Oh, hey..." He cooed, worriedly looking down at her as she shook her head a bit. "Babe, you okay?"
"I'm fine." She said. "I don't know what that was. I just got a bit dizzy, but it's fine."
"Baby, are you sure?" Sam insisted as AJ shrugged.
"I'm not sure, actually." She said. "But right now, I'm okay, so let's just... Let's just eat."
Sam nodded then, unsure if he should be listening to her right now, but unable to argue when both Quinn and Santana shrugged at him.
"Okay. Let's eat." He said gently, keeping a hand on her back as the three of them started to make their way toward the kitchen with everyone else.
