*AN: So sorry if you were expecting me to interact a little in the last chapter, but I couldn't think of anything that could fit into the chapter. Also, YAY! Finally reached chapter 10

Previously:

She strutted over to the entrance, and walked right in. At this point you realized, there was no turning back. Once you started this crusade against the Templar leaders, you couldn't just stop. You were at the point of no return.

Currently:

You sat on the rooftop and watched Toga with Eagle Vision. She seemed to blend in seamlessly with the other guards. You watched her navigate what she knew so far, but stopped a few times to check where she was going.

After about an hour of her searching for the security room, she finally found it. It had one guard on the outside, and one on the inside. She gave a head nod to the one outside, and received one in response. She then just walked in. Once inside, she quickly and quietly killed the security monitor, and drank his blood.

After she was fully transformed into him, she shut off the security system and walked out of the room, once again nodding to the guard.

This was your cue to move in. You made it to the wall as stealthily as possible while avoiding the guards. You hugged the wall, as you went to the same entrance Toga went into. You followed her path until you reached a staircase that led downwards.

You followed it down, sticking to the shadows. You killed who you could to make escape easier later on. You checked each room in case you found something important. Although you mostly followed the golden blot in your vision.

After about half an hour of skulking around as quietly as you could. You finally reached outside of the room with the golden silhouette. There seemed to be a red silhouette in the same room.

You decided to eavesdrop to find out what you could.

"Kai, you need to understand that we don't do that anymore."

"But Boss, we need to restore the glory of the Yakuza, and make it rule Japan once more!" The now named Kai shouted.

"Japan is already a lost cause to the Yakuza, the only reason we stay is because I have connections here to make sure we don't get arrested or killed."

"Damn your connections old man! What's the point of being Japan's most feared criminal organization and doing nothing with it!?"

"The point is that we are an organization. We look after one another in anyway we can. The only difference is we go through any means to do it, illegal or otherwise."

"*tch* I can't believe you." You watch as he storms through the door you were right next to.

He turns in your direction and his eyes widen before quickly becoming dull. You release your blade from his throat before letting his body fall to the ground.

You then enter through the open door, and lock eyes with the Templar before you. "I assume you know why I'm here?"

He breathes in and out slowly and deeply before speaking. "I know why you're here Assassin."

"Now, are we doing this the easy way?" You unsheathe your sword, "Or the hard way?"

He looks nearby at a sword before looking back at you, "How about neither, and we have a chat instead?"

You look somewhat skeptical and surprised before sheathing your sword and sitting down. You keep as alert as possible while you sit down.

He seems to calm down before pulling out some sake. He pulls out two cups, but you quickly wave dismissively at him. "Sorry, I'm not old enough to drink."

"So then, what's a child doing as a trained killer?"

"Getting revenge, and fighting for what the Assassin's believed in." He seems about to respond when you silence him, "Before you spout your nonsense about me not knowing what the Assassin's beliefs are, or what the fight is, just know that I've made it a hobby to look into their history, so I know quite a bit."

He goes quiet and nods before continuing. "So what are you getting revenge for? There were many assassins that used revenge as a motivator, I just want to know what yours is."

"I want to get revenge for the murder of my mother. She was a retired assassin just taking care of me. When she was murdered, she wasn't even 3 meters away from me. That bloody smile still haunts me sometimes."

He nods once again. "I'm sorry, for your mother. No child, at any age should have to go through that."

You let out a hollow chuckle, "An assassin getting sympathy from a templar, who would've thought?"

"Certainly not me. Let me ask you a question. What are you going to do after you free Japan?"

You look skeptically at him. "How do you know I'll free Japan?"

He lets out his own chuckle, "Certainly you've read much of the Assassin's history. It seems that at least once a generation, they free a country or two from the Templars."

You let out a more hearty laugh this time. "Fair enough. To answer your question though, I'm not really sure. I'm still a kid, so I haven't even begun to plan out my adulthood past high school even."

He smiles, "Well you've still got plenty of time, so just keep it in the back of your mind."

"Why are you being so nice? I mean, I've literally come to kill you."

"Well, I'd at least like to know who's killing me, and I like conversation, what can I say? It also doesn't help that this old body of mine can't keep up with yours in a fight. Oh, hold on." He gets up and walk towards the sword that he was eyeing earlier.

You reach for your own sword before he waves peacfully at you. You don't pull it out, but you keep your hand on it.

He unsheathes the sword before presenting you with the blade. "This is my weapon. I call it, "Kage Kaizoku." I unfortunately won't be able to pass it on to my grandchild, but I can at least pass it on to you. I would also like you to kill me with the blade. Think of it as a sort of honor for me."

You nod, and smile at him sadly

You nod, and smile at him sadly. He returns a similar smile before nodding that he was ready. You take the blade, and quickly run him through, ending his life.

You take a handkerchief and take some of his blood. "Rest in peace." You turn and leave, with sword in hand and small tears in the corners of your eyes.

*AN: So, that was kinda weird with the whole conversation thing there. I feel like it fits the Yakuza boss from what we know of him though. Also, don't worry, I didn't mess up the Bio or anything by not adding the katana, I have other plans for it. Speaking of the katana, the name means "Shadow Pirate" which I feel fits the assassins pretty well.
