She did pretty good in this test. Whether or not she knew she was being tested.

You waited in the classroom for Jiro to get back. Toga was holding your arm still. Not that you minded. It felt nice knowing that someone felt safe and protected holding you. Or maybe it's because of your 6 other female classmates.

Whatever, it's not important right now. What's important is that this conversation could make or break everything you've been working for. It didn't take long for Jiro to get back. She acknowledged your presence but talked to Yaoyorozu for a bit.

A few minutes after her arrival Mina came in with a bandage around her head. That seemed like Bakugo's cue to leave. So he did. Followed shortly after by Midoriya coming in with a cast on his arm and a bandage patch on his cheek.

People thought he was cool for his performance, and they started to introduce themselves to him. Sure his plan worked, but he got way too hurt and was way too worked up when he should've been calm. Jiro introduced herself and then made her way over to you.

"Ready to go?"

She nodded, and the three of you walked out of the class then Midoriya ran past you. Probably trying to catch up to Bakugo. Oh well.

As you guys walked out you saw Midoriya telling Bakugo something about how his power was borrowed or whatever. You weren't too interested.

You then continued on home with Toga and Jiro. The train home was quiet. You figured Jiro would want to get her thoughts in order. Toga still held your arm and put her head on your shoulder.

It didn't take very long to get to the sanctuary. Once you got in, you saw Eri training with Kage Kaizoku. M was on the side laying down. Deciding not to interrupt her training, even though she probably already knew because that door was loud, you snuck past her into the living area. You were followed by Toga and Jiro.

Once you got to the kitchen area you three sat down to talk. "So Jiro, what was it you wanted to talk about?"

She took a deep breath and began, "I wanted to ask a few questions before I make my decision."

"Sure, go ahead."

"Firstly, I wanna know who you're up against. Who are the current Templars?"

You took a deep breath, "Well, our intel is a little outdated. So here's who we have so far. Endeavor."

"The number two hero? Does that mean Todoroki is one to?"

Toga jumped in. "We're not sure yet. It's a solid maybe there, but we're keeping him at a distance to make sure."

You continued, "Detective Tsukauchi."

She got confused. "I don't even know who that is, but ok."

"The Cormac family."

A hint of recognition crossed her face. "Like William and our new Teachers?"

"Exactly."

Then she got confused, "Then why'd you be respectful to them in class today?"

You took a second, "Mostly because I do respect them. Living up to their ancestor's legacy is difficult. But it was also a way to throw them off my trail."

"That makes sense I guess."

"The head of the Yakuza used to be a member."

She thought about it. "Yeah, that makes sense. But what happened to make him leave?"

You looked down for a sec. "His death."

"Oh, I guess that would stop anyone from doing anything." She joked and then chuckled at her own joke. You didn't blame her, she didn't know. Doesn't mean it didn't hurt.

Toga though decided to step up for you. "Hey, could maybe not? That kill hit Y/N pretty hard."

"Oh, OHHH, I'm so sorry Y/N."

"It's alright Jiro, you didn't know."

"Doesn't mean I don't feel bad."

"Whatever, anyway their leader is Nezu."

That was the big shocker, and again, you don't blame her. That's a big bomb to drop on someone. "You mean principal Nezu? The person that has controlled the development of heroes for years?" You just nodded. "Shit."

"Any other questions?"

She seemed to ignore you for a second before recovering her thoughts. "If I were to join you, how much would I have to do?"

"Other than the training, mostly just info gathering. Himiko and I will do most of the killing. There will definitely be a few times where you will have to take the kill yourself though."

She once again went deep into thought. "One last question. Why?"

Confusion set upon your face as you contemplated the question. "W-what do you mean? I told you why."

She shook her head to disagree. "Not the Assassin's reason. But yours. I have no idea why you two are here and doing this."

Toga started since her story was shorter. "Well Y/N found me at the worst point in my life. I was just kicked out by my parents, homeless and fighting everyday just to survive. The night he found me; I was being overpowered by a guy in an alleyway. But he dropped from the rooftops and took him out. Then he offered to take me here. Ever since then I've just been following him, to repay him for his kindness. I also have an Assassin ancestor so I'm kind of tied in that way."

"I guess that explains why you're so attached to him. But what about you?" That question was directed at you.

You sighed and began your epic and depressing tale. You've told this story enough times by now. By the end though Jiro had to take a moment, and it looked like she swallowed a lump in her throat.

"Damn, thats... a lot. I'm so sorry dude."

Eri, who apparently walked in in the middle of that, hugged your leg to calm you down. But you were mostly fine. Laying it all out for Eri helped you come to terms with it all.

"It's alright. I've come to terms with it all." You put a hand on Eri's head to reassure her that you were fine.

"Man, I feel bad. All I've done today was make you feel bad. Just kept kicking you while you were down."

AN: Hello people of the internet. Sorry that my upload schedule for February has been non-existent but things have been crazy. My dad's apartment flooded, I got a job, and everything that comes with that. But it should all be figured out by now. Hopefully I can finally keep a consistent flow of chapters for all of my stories.

But honestly thank you all for sticking with this even though it's been so long, both in-between chapters and for the story itself. Plus, all of your comments keep my creative juices flowing and helps me not get too burned out. Love is too strong of a word for strangers on the internet, so I'll just say that I like you all of you guys and hope to see you guys still coming around. See ya in the next chapter.
