EPILOGUEThe sea roared loudly, crashing onto the rocks on the shore, the foam floating to the surface and being carried on the massive shallow. It hit the edge of the cliff harshly, lapping around the edge of the island.
It was silent at the camp, everyone asleep in their hammocks, the ocean acting as a soothing lullaby. All was asleep except one.
Minho kept fidgeting in his hammock, shifting from one side to the next to get comfortable. He didn't wish to go to sleep, as he knew otherwise that he would be plagued with nightmares, filled with faces of the long gone.

Minho was stood beside Alex, Lysander, Thomas, Frypan, Gally and Brenda on the beach — and in front of them stood a large stone with names on. A memorial for all of those they had lost.
Thomas stood back, after carefully carving Newt and Chuck onto the stone. Two tears were silently falling down his cheeks, which Brenda brushed away gently with her fingers.
Thomas then passed the chisel onto Alex who carefully carved Jake onto the memorial. The name of his love, the boy who had to grow into a man way too quick — the man who had his teenage years snatched away from him.
Alex then handed the chisel to Lysander who carved Teresa onto the stone, even though he didn't know their genuine connection, he still felt like there was something there.
He then gave the chisel to Minho, who accepted it with a deep breath. He took a step forward and began to carve the most beautiful word in the English language onto the stone.
The name that means dawn in Latin, representing a new day, a new chance at life.
The name that brought him hope, and showed him that there was so much more to life than just living.
The name that taught Minho how to love and how to be happy.
He stepped back and gazed at the name of the girl he loved... the girl he had lost.
In the middle of the stone memorial read:
Aurora
