Aurora awoke the next morning after the bonfire with a small smile on her face. She finally remembered something — her name. A small thing to hold onto, a small beacon of hope and it was a small thing that tied her to her past life. Even if that life was dead and long buried, at least Aurora could acknowledge its existence.

She opened her eyes and saw Alex hovering directly above her, a massive smile plastered onto his face. Aurora screamed and fell out of the small bed.

"AARGH!" she cried, and she fell out with a loud 'thump.' Aurora stood up and noticed that Alex was slyly making his way to the door. "Not so fast!"

Alex then bolted out of the room, closely followed by Aurora who was right on his tail. They both sprinted down the hallway and down the stairs and exited the Homestead before Alex charged towards Minho and cowered behind him.

"She's going to kill me Minnie," Alex said as he held Minho out in front of him like he was a human shield. "Protect me darling."

Minho chuckled deeply before prying Alex's hands off his arms and made his way to Frypan's kitchen — leaving Alex completely at Aurora's mercy.

Aurora smirked before charging at Alex and knocking him to the ground, she had taken the wind out of him. She then pinned his arms above his head with one hand and began to tickle his ribs with the other.

"This is what you get for scaring me to death this morning," Aurora said as she continued to tickle Alex, his giggles travelling through the entire Glade.

"I'm sorry, p-please forgive me!" Alex cried, continuing to giggle like a young child. "J-just stop before I k-klunk my pants!"

Aurora stopped tickling Alex and recoiled away in disgust, although she was quietly laughing to herself at the whole predicament. She stood up and extended her hand to Alex who accepted it graciously, his cheeks were flushed, breathing deeply — out of breath from all the running.

"Can we get something to eat? I'm starving." Aurora said and as if on cue, her stomach gave a loud grumble. Alex grabbed Aurora's hand and dragged her towards Frypan's kitchen, where the smell of bacon was wafting through the air.

"Alex!" Frypan bellowed as he handed them both a plate, "And the new green bean!" Aurora gave a sheepish smile, "Eat up Greenie, you'll need it."

He then put some bacon and eggs on both of their plates and then shooed them away so he could serve the next person. Aurora and Alex found a quiet spot on an empty bench which they decided to sit at, it was all calm until Newt plonked down — looking severely disgruntled.

"What's up with you shank?" Alex asked Newt as he poked his arm. Newt rolled his eyes but pinched a piece of bacon from Alex's plate when he wasn't looking.

"Jake said I can't go running today," Newt grumbled, frowning. "Said I looked too tired." Aurora and Alex exchanged looks.

"Well... Do you feel tired?" Alex inquired, stuffing an entire fried egg into his mouth with caused Aurora to scoot away from him slightly.
