It started out as such a good day.

Saturday was always a good day during the vacation. It was the best time for early training, for example. No one was at the gym (because they were all sleeping in). Breakfast was always better (not just fruits and crap proteins, but a full breakfast), and the day was mostly spent unstructured, and on their own.

Why did this one have to end up this way?

Izuku and Katsuki woke up alone, which was relatively rare since they had gotten together a week and a half ago. They were even more inseparable than before. But no one was complaining. Though Katsuki was getting really possessive— almost like a dog on a leash that Izuku was only loosely holding. At one point Denki thought that Katsuki barked at him. Maybe he did. Who knew.

Regardless, the young couple were love birds. After their required training, they'd go back to their rooms, cuddle and talk about the mosquitoes. They could make a conversation about anything. Hands always grazed their delicate bodies, sending new shooting nerves throughout them.

Katsuki learned he liked his hips touched, and he liked it when Izuku pressed a hand against the small of his back. Izuku learned how much he loved to be kissed, loved Katsuki's lips lingering on his cheeks, jaw, lips, and temples after a stressful day. He loved it when Katsuki held his hand in front of everyone, showing him off like he was something special. He never thought of himself as something special.

Regardless, Katsuki woke up relatively early, at around seven in the morning. He didn't like to be late to anything. He liked hitting the gym in the morning too. Made things way better. He got dressed in a muscle tank top and a pair of tight work out shorts, before lacing up his shoes. He grabbed his phone and earbuds before sneaking out of his dorm. Technically, the students weren't supposed to leave their dorms until eight, when breakfast was prepared. He thought to himself: fuck the rules.

It was late June by now, so the sun was already peeking like it was noon, though the weather maintained a faint chill. Katsuki loved this kind of weather. It was his favorite.

He walked a short ways away to the gym, whistling softly to himself as he trekked along. He had to bring a sweatshirt as he walked, because he was going to be frigid otherwise. His legs were quite chill though, at least the sweatshirt maintained some heat to the rest of his body.

After a five minute walk, the boy used his key to open up the gym door. He hummed softly and turned on all of the lights, setting his things in a locker he'd made his own out of a line of twenty lockers. His adorned a burn mark on the door from times it didn't open fast enough for his patience. Meh.

He used a headband to pull his hair back, drinking a protein shake as his breakfast. He knew Izuku would get mad at him for not eating, but he couldn't help it. He wasn't a breakfast person.

He started doing some leg presses, maxing out the weights at 220 pounds, only able to get six reps done at such a high weight. That was how he worked though. He wanted everything maxed out. Even if he felt faint after a few reps. He pushed the limits regularly. It got him yelled at by Kirishima when he would spot him, or by Aizawa when the teacher would watch over the kids.

Suddenly, when he was stretching out his back using a medicine ball, he heard the door creak open. He jolted, looking up, taking a seat on the ball to see who it was.

Izuku smiled tiredly and waved, closing the door behind him. He was in red gym shorts and an old worn out All Might T-shirt. He was still wiping the sleep from his eyes, hair tied up in a loose bun Ochaco put it in the previous night.

Katsuki chuckled, giving a nod as greeting before starting to do sit ups on the exercise ball. Izuku walked to the nearest machine, which was a treadmill. He was only walking on it, since he had just woken up.
