Well, it was set in stone now. The boys were going to have to do shitty things to survive. And those shitty things definitely involved robbing places nearby of food and money. It wasn't conventional by any means, and they didn't necessarily enjoy it, but they had to do it. There was no other way to make money. They didn't quite consider themselves villains, especially with Izuku's mindset of wanting to be a good person, but they weren't any good heroes. They were still committing crimes pretty often.

Izuku and Katsuki were thinking about heading out again. They hated the idea of just robbing places near them but it seemed so necessary. They were low on money again. The money they got from that traumatic first trip dried up quickly with groceries. They wanted to eat real food and it was expensive to do that. Eating all of the snacks were getting to them. The boys felt like they had to work all of the fried foods and other sugary candies off.

They would do nightly exercises, which sometimes just consisted of lots of sex. It was becoming a rather common occurrence, every other day Izuku woke up sore and unable to get out of the bed for a long while. However Katsuki always took really good care of him. The aftercare was almost as good as the sex itself. When it wasn't sex it was exercises they could do at home like push ups, pull ups on the door frames, and sit ups among other things. They had even managed to snag an old treadmill from a nearby dumpster. It was definitely an awkward sight, two wrapped up teenage boys dragging a rickety old treadmill up the stairs and into their apartment. But they did it! So they took turns using it every day. It was a good way to counterbalance all of the shitty food they survived on.

How they weren't tired of instant noodles yet was shocking. They ate at least one every day. Horrific. The sodium in those things was crippling.

Anyways, they were running low on instant noodles and things. They had begun to routinely commit small robberies. They weren't as showy as the first one, not pulling weapons on the owners of whatever establishment they were in. They would just steal enough food for the week in their bags, and then pay for a couple of things so it didn't seem like they were walking in and out. They hadn't been caught yet. No one had a clue what they were up to. And they always had identifiers covered, like their hair and things like that.

They needed to do so again. This time they were running low on money too. So Katsuki would have to rob the cashier too. It was getting easier for him to do so. As easy as committing a crime could get, at least. He very rarely threw up after he pulled his knife on people, but sometimes after they would run off Izuku would rub Katsuki's back as he threw up in the nearest trash can.

"What's it going to be this time?" Izuku asked tiredly, slipping his reusable gloves on his hand. They realized they shouldn't leave fingerprints in the event that a larger investigation would ensue. They had robbed two local places at this point. They figured the police might be onto them eventually with the continued crime.

Katsuki slipped his on too, glancing at Izuku's bandaged arm. The green-haired boy blushed lightly out of embarrassment, slipping into a black sweatshirt. He didn't like when Katsuki looked at it. He always got this sad look in his eyes. He didn't want him to be sad! He wanted him to be as happy as he could be. It was his fault anyways, he convinced himself. It had to be his fault. Katsuki wouldn't have hurt him otherwise.

Katsuki sighed, leaning over to kiss the top of Izuku's head. He softly apologized every time he saw the boys injuries. He had barely worked on his quirk since it happened. He didn't want to hurt Izuku again by the freak chance that it might have happened. He would never forgive himself. Izuku repeatedly convinced him it was fine, but it wasn't enough.

The boys were all ready for the trip, sighing softly.
"We'll grab the grocery store. We can get enough groceries that we don't need to grab anymore money." Katsuki suggested, shrugging his shoulders. Izuku shook his head, putting his face mask on his face. Katsuki did the same. He hated it the most. It made his face weirdly sweaty underneath because of the Summer heat and from his anxiety.
