It was six months. Six grueling, long months since the people of Japan had seen Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya.
At this point, they were presumed dead by the public. There were new police searches to uncover bodies rather than a couple of hidden students. The news conferences weren't as frequent, the media losing interest altogether.

Not to mention, the school was in session. All Might and Aizawa now had to teach their classes now, so they weren't as available as before to go and put on a show in front of the public and the media time and time again. It was almost like it never happened at this point. Like the boys never existed. They just vanished off of the face of the planet.

Though that most likely wasn't the same for everyone who cared about the boys. They loved the pair so deeply. So it must have still hurt incredulously. Not that Izuku or Katsuki would know, they didn't seem to care at all either. It was partly why becoming villains was so easy. Whether it was the Bakusquad looking up to Katsuki like a hero, or like a best friend, and Izuku's friends treating him as amazing as he was. Because they were both amazing. There was no doubt about that.

Regardless, Izuku and Katsuki were done with that life. They had been training relentlessly under Shigaraki and the League. The members had all gotten really close actually. They were like a band of misfits who happened to be really good friends. And also criminals by all means. They were criminals. They had committed lots of crimes.

The boys were still refusing to murder though. There were definitely options to kill, and definitely opportunity. They hadn't watched anyone else kill anyone before either. It was almost like protection over the boys. They weren't innocent, but compared to their ragtag group, they were clean.
Tomura said to prepare themselves though, because there was going to be a time where they would need to kill someone. It was just a part of surviving as a villain. People want you dead, so you need to take them out first so they can't get you. It made so much sense yet it felt so foreign because they were taught knowing what was right and what was wrong. And they knew killing was bad. They weren't going to have to worry about it for now.

But that was beyond the point. They needed to talk about something much more serious at hand. They had been discussing it little by little but it wasn't a conversation that ever lasted very long.

Shigaraki wanted the boys to debut. The debut was very important in villainy, just as it was really important to up and coming heroes. No one knew where the pair were, so it was even more essential that they make their debut. Everyone was assuming they were dead at this point. Hell, the last person to see them outside of the League of Villains was Kirishima, and that was four months ago. So it did kind of make sense for everyone to assume they died.

It was kinda crazy, going home late at night after hanging out with the League of Villains, switching on the television and seeing their faces still. Especially with the addition of the body recovery crews trying to look for their supposed dead bodies. Katsuki always got a kick out of that one, actually. Whenever they showed the policemen in hazmat suits he would chuckle a little, clutching the tip of a cigarette between his lips as he laughed. It was ridiculous. They were the undead, that's for damn sure.

Izuku didn't find it as funny, feeling like those people were wasting their time. He wished they all knew they were alive so they would stop all of that unnecessary stuff. Debuting was rather important to him for that reason. Not because he wanted to make an impression. Though that was kind of the fun of it all too. Shigaraki tried his best to get the boys pumped up at the prospect of making an impact. Most of the time Katsuki cursed him out, saying it was dumb and unimportant, but Izuku blindly believed it.
