The League of Villains never half-assed their plans. You don't breach the most prestigious school in Japan on half-assed plans. You don't recruit terrifying people with terrifying abilities on half-assed ideas. You don't kill All Might with half-assed you plans.
They had scoped out the location of the forest, thanks to Mr. Compress and his very useful information. They were impressed by the land. It was very desolate. Large trees loomed over the large area, with multiple paths cutting and guiding through the trees. There was an open field too, which came to be very important for their plans. However there were also signs of life there too, buildings that were UA-staff related standing in some parts of the forest.
So it wasn't just a complete forest. Regardless, it was really nice. The perfect forest to just go in and snatch a couple of kids up and leave without making too much of a mess.
They had done some recruiting for the mission, because this one was extremely important to Tomura. Muscular had agreed to join, with some stipulations. Tomura couldn't be more thrilled for the big man to agree to come. Those kids were powerful, but they were no match for the muscle and brute strength of this villain. He'd kill the kids if Tomura and the rest of the villains said that that wasn't acceptable by any means. His rapid muscle replenishment made him an exhausting villain to fight, with the only likely person to put him down being someone with a quirk like All Might's.
Tomura was admittedly nervous, though he wouldn't show it. What if it failed? If they failed too many attempts at something so simple as a kidnapping, the group would look like an absolute joke to potential villainous partners. He wanted to be famous, he wanted to be powerful. He wanted to wrap his hands around society and kill all the heroes that got in his way. His ultimate plan was to kill All Might, after all. If he couldn't kidnap a couple of shitty brats, there was no way that they'd ever get their hands on All Might. And he wasn't allowed to fail. God no.
But anyways, the Villains soon had to make a break for it after they scoped everything out, because they could hear lots of busses and cars arriving. The kids and pro-heroes were arriving to the location. Shit! They didn't want to be caught being at a place that they weren't supposed to. It would've foiled their plans. Plans that they were working on to make absolutely perfect. So they slinked away quickly, with the use of Kurogiri's warping quirk, Tomura promising a return for what they desire soon.
The kids arrived at around noon, all rowdy and excited in the busses. They were hooting and hollering, excitedly giggling when bumps in the road would launch them.
Denki would get excited too, loudly exclaiming the lyrics to the songs the bus' radio was playing, and got everyone to go along with it. In the back of the bus then, it would be the Bakusquad (except a napping Katsuki) yelling out the lyrics to Party in the USA or some other cliche American pop song.
At one point, Mina changed the radio before eventually shutting the radio off completely (this getting her yelled at by Mr. Aizawa, the driver). She grabbed her Bluetooth speaker and loudly played Hatsune Miku songs from her own music collection. Kirishima, Sero, Jiro, Denki, Izuku, and Aoyama all lost their minds listening to it. Aizawa was exhausted already. Present Mic, the lovely teacher passenger, as well as Midnight, were enjoying the energy of the group, joining along in singing along with the teal-haired robot, causing Aizawa to grip the steering wheel even harder. This car ride could not end fast enough.
Anyways. Speaking of Izuku, he was sat next to the sleepy blond boy he'd grown to adore. Todoroki sat beside Izuku on the bus seat to the left of him. They'd sometimes converse, but most of the time Todoroki was quiet. All of this noise made his anxiety go through the roof.
He was just trying to read a book about forestry and dangerous plants. Just in case he needed to eat some obscure plant while they were out there. Aizawa and Present Mic had explained that it wasn't necessary whatsoever, and tried to tell Endeavor about his son's obsession with conspiracies, but to no avail. The book was still brought along. He also had a band of sunscreen on the bridge of his nose, whistling along to the boisterous Miku songs occasionally. Momo had earbuds in, and was listening to some obscure classical artist, holding onto Shoto's free hand tightly. She got occasionally car sick, so her boyfriend was acting as somewhat good support. He was an awkward boyfriend who wasn't the most touchy. But she loved him regardless. They adapted well together.
