Izuku nervously fiddled with his school bag, zipping the main zipper up and down to try and calm his nerves. He huffed, tufts of his emerald hair fluffing out of his eyes when he did so.

He was perturbed by Bakugo's request to study. He never had seen Bakugo like that. So urgently incessant on something. So incessant on needing help.

He wondered what had gotten under Katsuki's skin. He wasn't one to show weakness. And after a short conversation with Bakugo's best friend Kirishima, it sounded like he wasn't the only one to notice Katsuki acting off.

"I don't know what's gotten into him. It's like after the Sports Festival, he fell under. It was alright at first but it's getting pretty bad pretty quickly. He won't talk about any of it either. I'm worried." Kirishima had explained. Izuku nodded his head, upset that someone he felt he was close to was upset.

"He asked me to study with him. Which- I'm glad because I'm afraid I'm going to fail the quiz in Present Mic's class. But if I'm going to be honest- it's kind of intimidating!" Izuku exclaimed, leaning against his locker.

Kirishima frowned, sharp teeth biting his lower lip. He was going to say something, but decided against it. Izuku wondered what the redhead was thinking about, but he didn't push it.

"...It surprised me too. We always study together. Him, Sero, Kami, and I. But maybe he needs to ask you stuff only you know! I mean, you take all those manly notes after all!"

Izuku smiled faintly, gaining a bit more confidence in himself. Besides, he had two more classes to freak out in before he had to study with Katsuki.

"Thanks for talking with me, Kirishima. It means a lot to know I'm not the only one that cares for Kacchan." The smaller boy smiled.

Kirishima nodded, gripping his textbooks in his strong arms. "No worries, Man! Caring for Bakugo is totally manly. Catch ya later!"

Izuku cleared his throat, grabbing his water bottle. He went through his internal checklist of things he needed to bring to Kacchan's room. He was always one to over pack anyways.

Textbooks, homework, test reviews from Iida... Water bottle, All Might blanket in case he fell asleep, and a change of clothes. Yep! Everything was all there!

With that, Izuku got up to head down to Katsuki's dorm, before his phone buzzed. It was a call, and as he frantically grabbed his phone from his desk, he saw Katsuki's picture light up from the contact he'd made.

He answered the call, worried Katsuki was going to yell at him from running a little behind. He checked the time on his All Might alarm clock, seeing that he wasn't running behind whatsoever. Quizzically and worriedly, he picked up the call.

"Kacchan! I'm sorry! I'm gonna be right there! Please forgive me for running a little behind-"

"It's fine, Dumbass. I just wanted to warn you my room is kinda messy. The jackasses always mess up the place." Katsuki's voice replied, already sounding tired. Izuku glanced at the clock. It was four o'clock, which was relatively early. He laughed internally, remembering Katsuki always slept at a responsible time.

"That's no problem, Kacchan! I can pick it up for you if you really wanted," Izuku suggested, which he got a grunt in reply.

"No, Idiot. I'll deal with it later. I'll see you in a few minutes. If you're late— I'll kill you."

With that, Katsuki hung up. Izuku decided to take that as a warning, hurriedly making his way to Katsuki's dorm room.

He sighed and tried to knock, despite his hands being full. It was more like he was pressing himself against the door, using his textbooks to knock harshly on the door. It wasn't a pretty sight, but it got the job done and the message across.
