Chapter Seven: Coming Out

Ever since Izuku had that night of misadventure he was unsure of his whole life. He didn't think he was really anything but straight. However, here he was. Newly discovered bisexual, and in love with his close friend who was his enemy only three months ago.

God, this was a mess.

He didn't know how to tell Katsuki. Should he tell him at all? He knew he couldn't tell the blond about his apparent crush, however, he could come out to him! Maybe even come out to the whole class! Was it a big deal? He didn't know! However he read online that it was a big deal, so he wanted to take it very seriously.

He was most nervous about telling his mother, so he doubted he would do that any time soon. He'd more than likely do that if he absolutely needed to, like if he got a boyfriend. Which he highly doubted. Katsuki was the only one to get his attention, and he'd never manage to reel that one in.

Regardless, Izuku was definitely embracing this new side of him. He started cuffing his pants, he started getting a little more flirty (though this was very awkward flirting) with Todoroki and especially Bakugo. But he was really shy with Katsuki, so the flirting fell flat on its face. And Katsuki would laugh at him for ages for sounding like an absolute idiot.

Anyways, Izuku was in class, Aizawa's voice drowning out of his ears. He was having a hard time focusing, since the class had gotten seat changes. He sat directly behind Katsuki, and he caught himself staring instead of listening. He tried not to get in trouble with the teacher, so he still took notes. However, they weren't nearly as good as they used to be. This was his first time having a hard hitting crush. Ochaco's crush didn't nearly hit as hard as this one did. He had done some much needed research about crushes and found out it might be more severe than originally intended.

He didn't fathom he was in love with Katsuki, because they weren't old enough to fall in love. At least, that's what he thought. Either way, he thought that love was really scary. His crush was swallowing up his life and his mind, and he had no idea on how to control it. It was super intimidating!

Katsuki turned around to get something in his backpack, which is when he noticed Izuku's eyes on his. He raised an eyebrow, peering at the green-haired boy. Was he staring? What the Hell? Fuckin' weirdo.

Izuku blushed heavily, absolutely embarrassed. He put his head down for a moment, muttering himself that he was stupid and dumb for getting caught staring at Katsuki.

How was he supposed to maintain good grades when he was too busy staring at Katsuki? This was troublesome. They barely studied at their so-called study sessions, he really was going to suffer from all of this. And Todoroki was too invested in getting better at everything alongside Momo, that he didn't have much time to help. Ochaco was barely keeping her head above, and Tenya was the most stressful study partner ever.

Thankfully, the bell rang, signaling that class was coming to a close. Aizawa said that they'd need to start packing for the Summer trip soon, and to look out for that and the lists of what to bring. They were customized for each student! How creative was that?

Izuku wrote a note to himself in his planner to start thinking of what to bring, when two big hands smacked on the surface of his desk. Izuku looked up, noting that him and the hands were the only people in the classroom. Aizawa must have gone to use the restroom or something. Scary... He could only imagine who was here in front of him.

"Kacchan!" He gulped nervously, jumping out of his skin. He looked up all of the way, smiling up at the aggressive male. The blond was smirking, giving a two-fingered salute as greeting.

"Hey Loser. I like your haircut." He muttered, gesturing to the undercut Izuku had gotten over the weekend. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously and softly giggled.
"Thanks! It's something new... I figured it would be pretty helpful when Summer training happened, so I won't sweat as much."
