Taehyung was laying in his bed when he heard the doorbell ring. at first he didn't want to open it, pulling the blanket over his head, pouty lips and a grumpy mood. he had been staring at his bedroom ceiling until he eventually fell asleep in the middle of the afternoon. while the sun disappeared completely from the sky, he had a nice dream about his boyfriend. wondering when he might see the boy again.

with heavy feet and eyes, the boy went downstairs. ruffled his hair on the way, trying to fix the current mess of blond strands. but there was no use, whoever was waiting had to put up with his messy bedhead. he sighed before opening the door.

he expected everything. from the postman, to Jimin - heck even an alien trying to take him to space would have been more believable than the person standing on the front porch. a shy smile, inky hair, black sportsbag and Taehyung's sweater. was he still dreaming?

"uhm hey."

"hi."

there was some awkwardness in the air. Taehyung squeezing the skin on his arm because he was sure that this moment had to be a dream and Jungkook being socially awkward as alway. there was a long pause before the older pulled the boy into a tight hug. the younger's heartbeat against his chest, his arms around his waist and his chin on his shoulder. this was real, it actually happened.

"i ... only came back because cat missed snowball. definitely not because i missed you so much that it was unbearable."

they giggled before Taehyung crouched down to open the zipper of the bag. cat's head came in sight, purring as the boy pet her black fur. she loved all the attention she was getting but her eyes were searching for someone else. before she could run away, Taehyung gave her a kiss on the nose. smiled brightly.

"thank you for bringing me my boyfriend back."

Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows. lips forming a small pout. sure, the interactions between his cat and Taehyung was cute and all ... but not exactly what he wanted. he didn't drive all the way here to watch his lover kiss his cat.

"okay, i know i said cat was the reason i'm here and she deserves all that love and attention but - sir, your boyfriend is literally standing next to her, in the need of some kisses. not to exaggerate but if he doesn't receive them soon he might die."

this time the older couldn't hold back his laugh, as he got up, cupped Jungkook's cheeks and showered him with kisses. he didn't pull back until his lips touched every single inch of the younger's face. but suddenly his smile dropped a little.

"but how long will you stay? when do i have to say goodbye again? i'm not sure if i can go through that a second time."

the younger smiled so brightly, you could mistake him for the sun. he was thinking about all the time he will spend with his boyfriend. the two of them together in the beach house. no more sad goodbyes for now. only kisses and cuddles.

"until our forever ends."
