Chapter 61

Yoongi staggered in his steps as he backed away.

Namjoon and Hoseok both in the same shocked situation looked at Yoongi. Yeonjun kept his gaze strained to the floor. The demon knew what happened when he touched Yoongi the first time. Yeonjun felt the immense pain and regret Yoongi held in his heart. He could tell that no one in this world knew the pain Yoongi went through.

"Yeonjun, explain." Jeongguk asked calmly while others couldn't muster up the strength. 

Yoongi heard the words that left the demon as he explained what he saw. "They used Jimin hyung's blood...that witch...it was never Jihoon...his scent that day belonged to Jimin hyung…"

Yeonjun again looked up at Yoongi before repeating those words again.

"It was never Jihoon...it was Jimin hyung all along…"

Namjoon gripped the chair looking away from Yoongi. Hoseok had fear in his eyes watching his friend. Yoongi's face as though from the shock of relevations was devoid of anything.

But the beta could see the glassy tears that lined up in his eyes.

Jeongguk slowly tried to touch the alpha, to get any sort of reaction from his side. "Hyung…"

Yoongi flinched from the contact and fled from the basement without hearing them calling him from behind.

In his ears, Yeonjun's words resonated. "He was never your mate...it was Jimin all along…"

Taehyung was rooted to Jimin's words. He couldn't believe his ears. All of this have to be a cruel joke.

"What did you say?" He asked in a quivering voice shaking Jimin who continued sobbing. "T-they u-used me T-Tae...I r-remember...T-they used my sc-scent…"

"I-it was me...my scent…" Jimin cried.

Taehyung didn't know how to react to this. "Yoongi hyung." He voiced out. Jimin ceased his cries, his cheeks flushed. 

"Jimin we have to tell hyung...my hyung…"Taehyung mumbled refusing to cry now.

Jimin himself have thought about it now quickly got into his feet. The two omegas run towards Namjoon's cabin.

Seokjin was sitting outside as they reached there. He noticed Jimin's dampened cheeks and Taehyung's almost crying face. "What happened to you two? " Jin anxiously asked.

"Hyung, have you seen Yoongi hyung?" Taehyung asked biting his lips. "He went with Namjoon to see that prisoner."

Jimin immediately left to where Jin said and Taehyung followed after assuring Seokjin that he would say everything sooner. 

They hesitated to enter the basement for a moment but the very next moment they pushed everything behind.

But Yoongi wasn't there.

Namjoon, Hoseok, Yeonjun and Jeongguk were alerted at once they got the whiff of their scents.

"Jimin…" Namjoon breathed out. "Hyung where is Yoongi hyung?" The omega asked desperately. "I have to talk to him."

Namjoon shared a look with Hoseok. "He...uh...what is the matter Jimin?"

Jimin looked at Taehyung for a moment. "I remember everything hyung." He broke down. "My memories...they...Jihoon…"

"Yoongi know.s" Hoseok muttered. Jimin sniffed looking at the beta. "W-what...how?"

Hoseok stepped aside revealing the prisoner alpha. Jimin saw the man in his memories. "Yeonjun read his memories…"
