Chapter 36

His shift at the café nearby came to an end and Jimin was ecstatic. It was almost five days he reached neutral land and though he struggled a bit now was slightly accustomed to his routine. He worked a seven hours at the café and finishes his day at the dance studio with his roommate/friend vampire.

He swiftly collected his belongings and walked towards the dance studio. The vampire had promised him that he would teach him the step Jimin saw the latter do yesterday.

Taemin grinned at him as the omega entered the room and waved at him. His four days visit have made him familiar with the students and apart from few scowling gazes by teenage girls who seem to have a crush on their instructor, others were warming up towards him. Jimin had already answered too many of their curious questions as he could and tried to brush away the topic of him dating the vampire.

"How was your day?" He asked politely as Taemin approached him where he was sitting. "Not so much." The vampire shrugged. "Aya is slacking a bit. If she didn't try to push herself a little bit I don't think she could pass that first round of her competition."

Jimin hummed in response. "Are you up to learn that?" He asked and Jimin beamed nodding his head.

"You are leaving tomorrow right?" Jimin asked as they were having their dinner later at night. Taemin was supposed to leave to Bangtan for Namjoon's approval tomorrow. "Yeah. Got any tips for me."

Jimin chuckled. "Be yourself." He said. "Namjoon hyung may look intimidating but he is kind. And so is Jin hyung. The pack respects them and if they make a choice the others follow."

Taemin listened intently nodding. They never discussed Jimin's past after the first night. Taemin was curious but he didn't want the other to be uncomfortable. "Arin said we leave at dawn. Will you be alright alone?"

"I will be fine." Jimin assured. "You'll be back soon and I only have half day shift at café tomorrow. And I won't wander around anywhere."

"But I can't help but worry." The latter argued. "You have only been here for like 5 days and...I have asked the clan to look after you."

Jimin was about to argue. "They would just make sure you are alive." He said. "They won't act as bodyguards or something."

There was no point of arguing there. "Are you nervous?"

"A bit." Taemin admitted. "Even if you say they are pretty nice guys..."

"They are."

"Then." Taemin stopped. "Then why are you here?"

That question changed the atmosphere between them. "You know what, just forget it... Don't answer that I shouldn't have asked you."

Jimin kept quiet. "Maybe one day I will tell you Min." Jimin said smiling slightly. "Now what matters is you get into Army."

"Yeah." The vampire smiled.

They were getting ready to sleep or Jimin was. Taemin didn't need that much sleep nor could he sleep today. They got few clothes for the omega and the vampire was sorting through the laundry pile. Something fell from the jacket Jimin wore the day Taemin found him.

The vampire frowned and took the thing which was apparently a Polaroid. There were two guys in there, one he recognized the silver head omega or another version of Jimin with pink hair. The other was another guy who was really good looking with his blonde hair but making a weird face at the camera. Jimin was laughing while his eyes at the blonde head.

"Jimin." Taemin went towards him. "I think this is yours."

Jimin was confused at first but recognized the Polaroid in latter's hand immediately and took it. "It was in your jacket."
