Chapter 68

A dreadful silence followed Namjoon's answer. Jeongguk's eyes immediately flashed bright red and pulled Taehyung closer to him. The omega cradled Jeongguk's head and whispered to his ears.

"They can't separate us Ggukie." Taehyung said. "You have your mark on me. We are mates. They can't separate us." Taehyung assured.

Namjoon realized he was right. They couldn't separate them. Taehyung and Jeongguk were already mated. It was against the core laws on which their realm was built on. Established mate bonds was the most sacred thing.

That left Yoongi and Jimin.

The head alpha looked over to the couple. He met with Jimin's bright silver ones burning in anger and fear because of the mere prospect of losing Yoongi. The alpha had his arms around Jimin, drawing soothing circles to his back. Yoongi was calm and collected considering the situation. Namjoon was relieved because of that. At least someone has to.

"I won't let anything happen like that." Namjoon immediatey said. "Its not dark ages. No one would consent to that."

Jimin didn't reply.

"So what is your plan Joon?" Yoongi asked sighing. "We have to leave today." Namjoon said. "Jeongguk and Jimin has to come with me. And since Taehyung and Jeongguk are just mated Tae won't be able to stay away from Jeongguk, so he has to join us."

"I'm also coming." Yoongi immediately. "There is no way I'm going to sit here while some old man decide on what they should do about me and my mate."

Namjoon asked them to get ready soon so that they can leave. Jimin never spoke a word as he walked back with Yoongi.

The alpha now was really concerned about this.

"Jiminie..." Yoongi stopped in his tracks and held Jimin's arm. "Say something."

Jimin looked at the alpha, still his eyes laced with the hint of silver.

"What is going in that pretty head of yours?" Yoongi murmured placing his hand on Jimin's cheeks, rubbing it slightly.

"Yoonie...what if they seperate us..." Jimin whimpered, quickly hugging the alpha and hid his face in the crook of his neck.

Jimin sounded so vulnerable. He was strong. Mentally and physically. But sometimes the fear of losing the loved ones really get to him. This was such a time.

"Jiminie..." Yoongi sighed holding his arms around him. "Nothing would happen to us."

"You know he is behind this, don't you?" Jimin said. "That bastard."

That thought already flashed Yoongi's mind. There was only few people that knew about Jimin's true identity. With Elder Eunjae's arrival it was sure that Kangdae tipped them off.

"I'm scared Yoonie." Jimin admitted. "I'm scared that what about what they will do to us."

"They will do nothing Jimin." Yoongi said firmly. "These people, yes they do have power, but not to break a mate bond. You are my mate. And I'm yours."

Yoongi cupped Jimin's cheeks forcing him to look up.

"I have lost you once." Yoongi said. "I have been fooled many times on this."

"I have suffered so much to be with you. You came a long way to stand here. And do you think I will let you go that easily?"

"You are my mate. And no one is going to change that." Yoongi pressed an assuring kiss on Jimin's lips.

"What if..." Jimin again began but Yoongi's heavy sigh cut him off.

"If they even try our pack is on our side." Yoongi said. "Army is on our side."
