Chapter 32

Taehyung was greeted with the rays that crept through the small slit in his almost drawn curtains. It took a few minutes for him to completely brush away his sleepiness. And that is when he realized the absence of familiar person next to him.

Jimin wasn't there. Besides the omega's side was perfectly made and the old plushie he used to cuddle was there in his hand. Taehyung frowned. All these days Jimin was there beside him when he wakes up.

Maybe the omega had some errands.

He got out of his bed and completed his daily routine. Taehyung went to Jimin's room wondering if he was there. Realizing that he isn't he then set out to his brother's cabin. Seokjin hyung was the one who always provided them with food. Jimin would be there helping out. It was early morning and the mist hasn't faded away completely. Taehyung hugged his loose coat to himself as he sleepily made way towards the head cabin.

"You are early today." Namjoon commented as he sipped his coffee. Jin was beside him with his green tea. Taehyung groggily made way towards the kitchen and helped himself with the tea.

"Have you guys seen Jimin?" He asked now noticing the omega was not there too." Namjoon looked up curiously. "No. He's not with you?"

Taehyung shook his head. "The bed was empty this morning." He said. "I thought he came to help hyung with breakfast."

"I haven't seen him." Seokjin said.

"I will look for him." Taehyung said placing his untouched tea on the kitchen counter. It was odd of Jimin to leave him without telling where too. He decides to go to Yoongi's cabin since it is closer.

It was Jeongguk who opened it. "Hey morning." Jeongguk said half yawning. His hair was a huge mess and tried to rub his sleepiness. Taehyung smiled at the sight of his mate. Jeongguk wordlessly pulled him closer and pressed a soft kiss on his lips.

"Why are you here this early?" He mumbled sleepily, frown etched on his forehead. "Did Jiminie come here by any chance?" Taehyung asked.

Jeongguk's frowns increased. "No. He's not here."

"Where is he?" Taehyung mumbled to himself. "What is it?"

"He wasn't there when I woke up and wasn't there at Joon hyung's. I mean he would have some errands to run but why didn't he tell me anything." Taehyung mused and a small pout formed in his lips.

"Is that so?" Jeongguk said.

"I have to find him." The omega sighed trying to pry himself from his mate's embrace. "I'll come with you."

Jeongguk closed the door and the both set out for a tour around the pack. They visited Hoseok first but the reply was similar, and then practically went to every cabin. But Jimin was not there.

Taehyung was getting more and more worried and Jeongguk was anxious but he kept on saying everything will be fine. The alpha persuaded Taehyung to get some breakfast and Taehyung's worry overpowered the hunger he had.

"What if Jimin is already there?" Jeongguk tried. "Let's go back to your cabin and see. If he isn't there we can tell Joon hyung."

Taehyung somehow let his mind to follow Jeongguk but his cabin was still empty. The omega was now scared. "Where is he Ggukie?" He whined frustrated as he plopped down on his bed. Small tears of frustration lined up in his eyes. But Jeongguk had noticed something else.

The yellow note scribbled with something was stuck to the wall next to Taehyung's polaroids. He hesitantly took it and eyes widened as he read.

"Tae..." He called unable to say something else.
