Chapter 73

Negotiations with Red Pack wasn't a hassle. Their elder was slightly doubtful but after taking to him Yoongi realized he didn't want to separate them. Maybe majority of the elders are nice and the misunderstandings must've gotten into their head.

Hoseok and him soon left to blood moon. Unlike Red pack, Blood moon was newly formed like Bangtan. So they didn't have a position in the old thirteen and no elder. But the head alpha's voice holds the equal power.

Youngjae, the head alpha of blood moon was a their childhood friend. Their pack proximity and their fathers being friends they both had a really good relation. 

Yoongi disclosed what happened knowing that the alpha would always stand by them. He told him about how Jimin was captured by Kangdae who is now manipulating the council against them.

"We don't have a elder Yoongi." Youngjae sighed. "Elders are tricky ones. Though you get the head alphas to your side they could act on their own."

"They could." Yoongi admitted. "That is what I fear the most. Elders like Eunjae and Kangdae could easily convince them against us. If he could get six people he could win this considering it is him who is now the thirteenth one." He gritted his teeth.

"But they should be afraid." Hoseok reminded. "They all know what happened when the old council separated the moonchild from their mate. They destroyed the council. It could happen this time too."

"Jimin isn't like that." Yoongi immediately defended. But deep down he knew he was wrong. Though Jimin would never hurt someone Yoongi saw how he reacted when those wolves attacked him. If his wolf felt he is going to loose his mate Yoongi knew Jimin would do a killing spree. 

Hoseok gave him a knowing look. "We both know he would."

"We can go for war then." Youngjae piped in. "I don't think the council would repeat what they did and if they try, they don't hold much power these days. I'm sure no sane wolf in this realm would consent to destroying scared mate bonds. Maybe it is high time we should unite and fight."

They knew war could be a possibility in the near future. But Yoongi prayed that it won't come to that. 

"That bastard though." Youngjae spat. "He's going to fucking regret everything he did."

Hoseok and Yoongi stayed quite both lost in thoughts. Now they had approval of four elders. Elder Dong and Elders from Red, Raa, Dawn. If things go like this they could easily win over them.

"Tell me about your mate Yoongi." Youngjae mused. "How is it like to be the mate of a moonchild?"

"Ask him how is it like to be the mate of Jimin." Hoseok corrected. Youngjae smiled apologetically.  

Yoongi smiled softly at the mention of this.

"Ahhh he is in love." The other alpha dramatically drawled out. "This Jimin must be a hell of an omega for making Min Yoongi smile like this."

"He is." Yoongi replied indulging with Youngjae's blabbering. Hoseok laughed loudly. They went of bickering back and forth till the duo bid their goodbyes.

On their way back, Yoongi noticed how silent Hoseok was. "What is it in your head?"

The beta looked at his friend and sighed heavily. "I wish she was here to see this." 

Yoongi stopped in his tracks. "I wish Minji could see this." Hoseok repeated. "But I think she already is." He looked up, now it was already dark and the sky was slightly cloudy. "I like to think it that way. She is looking over us and will be so happy to see you opening up your heart Yoongi."

Hoseok bit his lip and looked at the silent alpha. "Thats all she ever wanted. She would always fret over how important was it to find you a love for her."

"She will forgive me right." Yoongi said in mere whisper. This was not the first time Hoseok heard this question. Yoongi asked the same thing to him many times. The first being when they finally sat together after Minji's death.

"I have told you Yoongi, she would never hold anything against you." Hoseok said. He missed her badly. it was quite tough to move on from the death of your mate. The pain, the anger. The beta couldn't say he has completely gotten over that trauma, he doubts he will ever. But as time passed the pain had lessened. Hoseok gave the whole credit to Junho for that. "Moreover she would be proud of you." He continued. "Proud that you allowed yourself to feel love again. Proud that you gave yourself a chance. It is hard thing to do, once you are hurt by love."

"Did you ever considered the concept of you having a second chance?" Yoongi asked to which Hoseok looked at his friend with rasied eyebrows. "Don't look at me like that." Yoongi grumbled. 

"I have, in fact." Hoseok chuckled. "Like your father, though I think his was way too earlier even it worked out, maybe someone will come. And I know I won't be able to shy away from them at that time. They will be destined."

"You deserve that Hobi." Yoongi murmured. The beta smiled knowingly before pulling Yoongi into a warm hug.

"I hope you have given your father that letter." Namjoon asked Jeongguk. They were all now back in their pack, successful in what they intended. They needed few more support against the council but now they have a confidence that it would work.

"I did." Jeongguk nodded. "But what was that hyung?"

"I'll tell you when the time comes." Namjoon assured. "It could help us greatly in this." 

This was a day where the entire pack sat together for dinner. Seokjin, Taehyung and Hoseok were deep in conversations and Yoongi and Jimin in theirs. 

"I heard that you went to visit Ahn, Jimin." Namjoon frowned. "Did something happened?"

Jimin paused for a moment, thinking the answer. "We did." Taemin said. "Jimin, Yeonjun and me.  We went to see if he would gave any evidence against Kangdae in the council."

"We need proofs hyung." Jimin elaborated. "Not only we have to preserve the bond but also bring Kangdae in front of the council. They won't take Yeonjun's words into consideration, hell he won't be able to enter the premises. Apart from that Ahn is our chance."

"I still don't get the logic." Seokjin grumbled. "They don't need proofs for accusing you and Jeongguk as beasts but need proofs for this."

"People are prejudiced Jinnie." Namjoon said. "They don't usually like what they don't understand." The head alpha looked at Jimin. "Well did you get something?"

Jimin and Taemin turned towards Yeonjun who took the liberty of answering.

"Not yet,but if everything goes right we might get something."

"You only have Eunjae in your side." Jina drawled. "How are you even supposed to get the support?"

"Eunjae has support." Kangdae stressed. "He will get them on our side. All we need is five people including him and I could  caste the seventh vote."

Jina shook her head and got up from the couch she was sitting. "I still think our other plan was better. This could harm you if they managed to provide proof against you. Ahn is still with them and he could easily..."

"I trust Ahn." Kangdae dismissed her doubts quickly. "He won't..."

"People change Dae." Jina said. "You never did anything to help him out and what if he turn against you for that."

The beta face hardened. "If this goes wrong, you know what to do." He said boring his eyes on the witch. "You need to do that and we can have them exactly where we wanted them to be."
