Flames

Chapter 65

Yoongi left for his duties soon after leaving Jimin and Taemin behind. Jimin had a lot to fill him in.

So began with what happened that day. Taemin was shocked to know that Jihoon wasn't Yoongi's mate. Jimin continued telling him about his father's and his voice quivered as he reached the part  of their death. "They just killed them. Like that." He said. 

Taemin wordlessly put his arm around Jimin. "I wanna kill them all Taemin." Jimin whispered. "I wanna kill them for what they did."

The Vampire didn't reply.

"How does it feel though? Getting revenge." Jimin asked after a while. "You killed your brother. How does it felt for you?"

"Pain." Taemin said afterthought. "Even if I killed Wonshik, Eun hyung was still dead. There is nothing I could do about it."

"They just wanted a happy life." Jimin cried hugging Taemin. "They just wanted to live together. They fought for it. All their lives they fought for it." Jimin sniffed.

"Their pack didn't want them together. Alpha and alpha pair. They fought against that, ran away from them. They sacrificed a lot to have me." Jimin squeezed his eyes thinking about all of that. "They wanted to protect me and they fought for it. All their lives they fought for happiness. But..."

"Jimin..." Taemin whispered bringing him close. 

"They took that away from them. They took that away." Jimin gritted his teeth. He pulled himself from Taemin's embrace, locking his eyes with the Vampire. His eyes now burned silver in rage. "They took that and I will make them pay for what they did. What they did to me, to them, to Yoongi...They have exceeded every limit."

"We will make them pay."

The dinner was calm and quite and a huge relief was the elder Eunjae already left the evening. Namjoon informed this later as the man barely told him that he was leaving. The abrupt visit and departure indeed fueled the doubts they had but now all they could do is wait and unravel what could happen.

"Have you told him?" Jimin asked in a hushed tone to Jeongguk as the alpha's hormones were off the charts. Taehyung probably had it figured it out by now but didn't say anything. Jeongguk mouthed a later as answer. Jimin scowled as if threatening the younger to tell the omega as soon as possible to which Jeongguk promised.

Yoongi managed to pull Jimin out of others as the dinner completed guiding him away from people. "Where are you taking me?" 

"Just a walk." Yoongi shrugged. "The sky looks beautiful today and we never had a date in our human selves. "Date?" Jimin playfully raised his eyebrows. "So are you courting me or anything?"

"I was going to ask you your permission at the end of this anyway." Yoongi said nonchalantly. 

Jimin blushed slightly and looked away. "The problem however is..." Yoongi put his hands in his pockets looking at Jimin. "For courting you, I need to ask permission from your guardians."

"What did you do about that?" Jimin asked genuinely curious.

"I asked Taehyung." Yoongi said. "And Taemin."

Jimin's eyes widened slightly. "Really?"

Yoongi was nervous about this. After he left Jimin with Taemin he went out looking for his little brother.

Courting Jimin was a decision he had set when they were separated during Jimin's heat. By the old laws the alpha or beta needed to ask permission from the omega or beta's guardians to court them. But in situation like this the pack alpha could give his consent.
