CHAPTER 24|GUARDIAN

"Also known as a wailing woman" I hear Ambrose finish

Sabrina speaks up keeping her eye on it "why is she here?"

Prudence and Ambrose stay silent for a moment, and I can feel the nervousness before they speak

"It's an omen,Sabrina"
"I'm sorry, but a member of the spellman family, is going to die soon"

I let out a shuddered sigh as I look to Sabrina, her brows furrowed

"No, prudence" I hear Sabrina speak up,her voice loud and clear

"I don't care what she is, no one in this house is dying" I watch as everyone returns into the house, keeping my eye on the woman

She hadn't moved, and I hoped that's the way it would stay, I let out a frustrated sigh, unsure of what to do as I walk back in to see Sabrina

I bite my cheek "Sabrina, if there is anything I can do, I'll try" I look at her, eyes filled with intent

"Maybe just go to Baxter high? Check on everyone? Oh here, I completely forgot" she grabs something out of her hand and placed it in mine

A necklace, a lot shorter than my own, resting high on my neck, I clasp it on as I tilt my head at her

"It's similar to your sun necklace, except it should teleport you to me instead" she smiles at me and I nod, before turning to make my way outside

I couldn't teleport like sabrina, so I was at a bit of a... mortal spot

Whatever, save me the trouble of being caught, and it was refreshing

-TIME SKIP-

I made my way to the school, and sat in my class in between billy and some other girl

"Hey Eden, been a while hasn't it?" He smirked at me and I smiled, resting my hands on my head

"You change your hair? It looks good"

I look away nervously and laugh "yeah, kinda thank you billy" I smile at him and he looks at me a second longer before the lesson starts

I'm halfway through the lesson when the PA systems go off

"Eden josephson please report to the principals office please"

Josephson? Joseph's son?

I get up quickly as I make my way to the office, but as i walk something feels... off

The rooms are too quiet, the hall is empty, my footsteps are too loud, I shake my head as I finally make my way to the principals office and am greeted by a terrifying sight

The man from the carnival, holding the principal by her temples, he lets go and her head falls to the table, seemingly unconscious

I look at him in fear as I run out of the room

"Come now Eden, is that anyway to run from your destiny?"

The words chill me as I run out of the room trying to make my way out, but I freeze

I make direct eye contact with the snake charmer from before,

I can't move

I've not turned to stone, but I physically can't move, stuck in place feeling my heart race as both of them make their way towards me

"Shame that isn't it? Your current situation" I hear the booming voice behind me

I can't do much as my eyes begin to water, unsure if it was from the pain of inability to even blink, or if it was from my fear

"Unfortunately for you, some of our powers still work against you..." he starts

"...unfortunately for us however, they don't work as, intended" the woman finishes, a rattling coming from her words

"You'll be coming with us"

-TIME SKIP-

I don't remember what happened, I assumed I blacked out at one point, maybe from them? Or the shock of it all?

I groan as I try to move, but unable to feeling myself bound to a chair, I look around and see myself in a circus tent

I look around rapidly, feeling my heart burn as I panic, this was the last place I wanted to be, the memories, the horror it, it...

My thought were cut short as I see the man from before come into the tent and I look at him, eyes wide

I begin to move violently, hoping to loosen the bonds but he grips his arm on me

"Now now, is that anyway to treat your destiny? Cant you see Eden? Everything brought you to this moment, there was no escaping

Won't you just help us recreate your home?" I look down as I begin to shake from holding back tears, before being forced to look back up at him

"You'll have to help us anyway, you're only making it harder to yourself" I growl as I try to move away, before I feel something sharp touch my neck

I suck in a breath as I feel a Nick cut into my neck, blue blood dripping slowly, nowhere near enough to kill me, but enough for...

I whimper as he puts something cold up to my neck, a vial of some sorts, and walks out saying nothing

I'm left back with my thoughts as I gulp, feeling more blood drip to my chest

How long would I be here? Would sabrina know to find me? When would they even realise I'm gone?

I whimper out as I bow my head, unsure of what time had past since I last saw them

I let my tears drip down as I close my eyes, trying to go down further to my knees huddling on myself, feeling the wet cold on my thighs as I do so, drip after drip after drip

And drip... until it stops, I'm still crying and it takes me a moment to realise the tears were disappearing

When I realise I stop and open my eyes, and am greeted by a hand, bigger and more masculine to my own
