CHAPTER 30|KING

We sit down in a circle as we plan how to do this

We figured out we may be able to send Sabrina back in time, and change everything
Change what I caused

I look at the book Ambrose pulls out, after we discussed the usage of the unholy regalia and I cock my head to him

"What kind of weapon?"
He chuckles, probably for the first time in a millennia
"Ironically enough... a morning star"
I look to Sabrina and Ambrose, and we all nod
Let's get to business

-TIME SKIP-
We stood in the stone circle, after a few complications we had managed to get there safely
I stood away from the circle, this was something Sabrina would have to do alone, and make everything better
Make everything I had done better, for once on my arrival to earth, this was something she didn't need me for

And I was proud

I backed up from the stones, watching the scene before me, her shouting her Latin words and throwing the Morningstar above her

And in a moment, she was gone

-TIME REWIND-
Sabrina had managed to change everything, everyone was safe and alive, the pagans defeated

Now she had one more thing to do
Save Eden, as had she loads before
And she knew how to do it

EDENS POV- AGAIN
We make our way back to the cave, but someone did us before we head in
"Sabrina, stop,
Whatever you do, don't give him that silver" I looked up to see a cloaked being, with a familiar voice

Sabrina speaks up first "what? Why? Who are you?"
I look at the cloaked figure again, and answer for her

"Sabrina, it's you"
The other Sabrina speaks up "and I've had a very long day, so bear with me, that's not Judas in the wall
It's caliban in a glamour"

I feel my face heat as she says this, caliban was going to cheat?

"And the second you hand him that silver, he'll win everything, Eden becomes a demon and he traps you down here forever," the other Sabrina looks to me

I... became a demon?
I look at her and open my mouth

"But how do you know that?" My Sabrina speaks, but I'm the one who answers
"Because it happened all before" I look towards the other Sabrina, brows furrowed in sadness

"I go with him, and I leave you?" Sabrina nods and I close my eyes
How disappointing of me
I feel myself shiver at the idea of what I had become, was I the same? Had the same deformations of asmodeus happen to me?

My Sabrina is the one to answer next "well then how did I get out?" And the other Sabrina smirks

"Uh, a friend helped me out, and I was supposed to do the same thing for her to keep the time loop going"

I speak first "should you guys like, merge them? Isn't this extremely dangerous?" And both sabrinas turn to me, the other Sabrina grabs my hand

"I realized something, after all of this, I just want to go home to my family, but you..." she turns to my Sabrina
"You still want to rule, and we can't have caliban being king can we?" My Sabrina smiles at her

"...but as you mentioned, we both can't be here, so we have two options"

"Either, both Sabrina stay alive, one in hell and one on earth" the other Sabrina starts

And I see my Sabrina hand me the coins of Judas
"Or, you rule with caliban, no betrayals, no death and you can keep him in check"

I speak up quick "but wasn't caliban the one who ends the world? You said he can't be king"

And Sabrinas only smile at me
"Yes, but you're still an angel are you not? I'm letting you do this Eden, you're saving me"

I go to protest once more, but I feel something, call it a premonition or a ghost, a feeling or a shake, but something somewhere was telling me something

This was what I'm here for, this is how it was meant to go

I grab onto the coins and make our way into the cave, not looking behind me as both sabrinas merge and we make our way into the cave and approach 'judas'

"Judas, I have your pieces of silver" I hear Sabrina as she steps closer, me not far behind just in case

"Did you get them, all?" I hear caliban reply
It made me ill to think how okay he was with cheating, and o was unsure if I was okay to go through with this still
But I had to

"Yes, I counted them" is all she says
"Let me feel the weight of them in my hands one last time"

I see Sabrina go to give him them, and I tense up for fear she would actually hand them to him

But she stops before it reaches his hand
"Nice try, caliban
But I'm not an idiot, you're wearing a glamour and I won't make the same mistake twice"
I step up by Sabrina as caliban removes his glamour, his eyes staring into my own

"How did you know?"
Sabrina retaliates "because I'm one step ahead of you and twice the monarch you could ever be, you won't be getting out of there any time soon" I see her turn as I look at him, but she stops

"Unless you'd like to strike a little deal"
This is what Ive been waiting for

I look back at caliban, making our faces level and I speak quietly to him

"I'll accept your proposal"
He seems to be confused at first, and then it clicks, but I continue on
"On the promises that you don't enslave earth, and every idea you have we discuss it before you execute it"

I hold is face as I kiss it softly
"Like a real king and queen"
