I didn't waste my time talking to Michael

"Michael, she's the eldritch terror, there's not much I can do" I sit down on a rock, I had travelled to the woods to speak to Michael, away from wandering human ears

We were both in our angel form, but that wasn't what I was worried about, I wasn't worried people would see us, or if I was wasting my power

"Michael I failed her" I burrowed my head into my hands, he sat down next to me, grabbing my shoulder

"You haven't failed her... but I suggest staying here for a bit, I sense she will need your help soon" I look up at him in confusion

"What do you mean?" He smiles softly

"You couldn't prevent this, it was bound to happen and I know you tried, it won't be long now until she realizes herself there is something wrong with her, but the process to do so... is a grueling one" he shudders at the end, I can't describe my face in anything but pure disbelief

"I'll stay with you to explain, and when you are ready I will personally take you to her myself"

-TIME SKIP-

Michael had taken me back, his final words rung through my mind
"Just remember, when you think you are done
You aren't, the joys of being a guardian"
I shrugged it off as I made my way back to the house, it was an interesting thing to wander into I must say

There was that water witch Sycorax, Sabrina, Nick and Ambrose

As Michael predicted, they had figured a way to remove the creature out of Sabrina, and here they were doing it

But carelessly, I watched as the water drained from sabrinas body, in hopes they would get rid of the weird in her body

But they were doing it too fast, I watched as she fell out of her chair, and I gripped her hand, she looked at it, saying nothing as she continued to slowly pass out more

But not it I could do anything about it

It was a fast decision, something I should've put more thought in, but I sacrificed it anyway

Share the burden of this feeling
Remove the terror, give her healing

I see Sabrina become stronger, as I start to weaken slightly, she still had the terror in her, her water still being dehydrated out of her

But I was the one feeling it instead, I lost my grip as I let go of her hand, sycorax finally stopping her magic at the reaction of Sabrina gagging, I fell onto the floor, resting for a minute trying to gain back more strength, and I finally hear something come out of Sabrina

The terror

I feel more vitalized as sabrina hydrates herself, and I even go to stand up and leave the room, but I hear a voice

"Don't go again, I know you're there"
I widen my eyes in surprise as I look to Sabrina, she wasn't looking at me but I knew those words were directed towards me

I pinch her hand softly as she smiles
"Thank you, I know you tried to warn me
I didn't listen"
I snort at her comment,
You really didn't

But I let go of her hand to leave,
At least in a way I said goodbye

-TIME SKIP-
I walked my way back to the clearing, humming softly as o tried to find Michael again

Until I felt something, a familiar heave in my chest and a wave of dread coming over me
Something wrong

I couldn't tell what it was, it was evident Sabrina had something to do with itbut what could it have been if not for the terror? But then Michaels words rang through my head

"Just remember, when you think you are done
You aren't, the joys of being a guardian"
It wasn't a metaphor
It was a warning

I trudged away from the forest, and although I had hated my new powers, a constant reminder of what I gave up for them
It was the first time I had purposefully teleported

I ran into the classroom, seeing a horrid sight, and Ambrose trying to speak to Sabrina
"Cousin, you must tell them to stop, you can't do this, you must fight this"

I tried to speak to Sabrina, letting any sort of connection run through her
"You are stronger than the weird, I know you are"

I felt a shiver run through my spine as I heard sabrinas bones crack violently

"Fine" I muttered aloud, I grabbed ambroses hand, forcing him to see me

"Repeat after me" he nods, not having time to question me as we shout out a Latin spell, making Sabrina pass out forcefully

I watch as Ambrose makes a dive for Sabrina, and I stay with Lucas, ready for him to freak out

"Can you please tell me what the hell is going on?!" I rub my forehead, at this point not even caring

He'll forget about this soon

"I'm an angel, actually the guardian angel of her, she's a witch,  he's also a witch and our little blonde friend is possessed by a thing that's going to help end the world, is that what you want to hear?" He looks at me as if he's going to faint, and I look to Ambrose

"Hapless mortal, this is but a dream" and he repeats the same words to Lucas, making him sleep

That works too

"Ambrose what's going on? I thought it was dead? -Also no mention of this to Sabrina when she wakes up" Ambrose nods at the last sentence, before explaining

"It seems Eden, that we were fooled, and we need to get out of here" I nod at him, walking over to Sabrina, and helping Ambrose lift her up, we carefully left the school, making sure not to wake any of the students before they were ready
