CHAPTER 45|ORDER

I let out a shaky breath as me and Metatron made our way to earth
"And here all you do is give him cause
Bringer of light"

I hadn't been made to be hidden, but I had chosen to
Not until I was ready, i had looked at everyone, watching their moves silently

But there was only one I had been focused on, he was sat their amongst the rest of them, whilst they discussed what they had needed to do,

He had looked so distant, and so lost, different to everytime he had been with me

Is this what he was like normally? When we were apart?

"And who might you be, an eldritch terror perhaps?" I hear ambrose speak, I look behind him to see the planets, similar to our own in the celestial realm also crashing into eachother

"No, they are an angel, of the highest celestial order,
As close to the false god as I once was"

I see caliban look to metatron at the mention of an angel, deep inside my hope was that he was looking for me instead

How I had missed him

"I am metatron, born Enoch
I represent order"
Her voice rang loud throughout the halls

"There is an amount unprecedented of chaos in the cosmos, left to your own devices there would only be more

So I come to you with a solution, a method to restore order" everyone pays attention to metatron, an obvious respect came through the air, holding their breath, waiting for Metatrons next words

"For the cosmos to survive,
One Sabrina must die"

I furrow my brows at this, this hadn't been part of the plan,
The sabrinas hadn't needed to die

A large commotion occurred, which had been quickly ceased when metatron opened their mouth again

"There is yet another solution
The two sabrinas can merge into one, so that only one single entity remains"

"So those are our only two options, death, or a merge?" I hear the Spellman ask

Metatron walks forward, waiting until they finish walking to speak again
"Correct"

They're lying, why would they lie
I watched in panic as the sabrinas agree, as they lie down next to eachother, Nick starts to kiss Sabrina Spellman gently, another mount of commotion begins as they lie down, but Metatron speaks

"Enough chaos, let the merge begin"
"Sabrinas, close your eyes
And invite the darkness of space into yourselves, imagine yourselves floating, weightless"

I watched as they attempted to merge, but I had caught onto something I assumed the others didn't

This wouldn't work
The words metatron were saying, to let 'eachother' go
Both would simply die

At the same time, Ambrose came barreling in
"Stop it, stop the ritual!" And I let out a silent breath, everyone looks at him at this sudden announcement, and Zelda is the first to speak

"Ambrose, what is it?" I look at him as he seems taken aback, but goes to speak again

"Aunt Zelda, it is much bigger than we could have ever imagined"

There are three new realms approaching, on a collision course to our own"

Hilda looks at him strangely "sorry, three new realms,
How is that... what?"

I look at Ambrose as he finally understands, something Metatron had brought up to me earlier
"They are the next eldritch terror, bearing down upon us, hearing these

They are, horrors from the stars,
which is why it is strange that our celestial friend did not know about it"

Metatron speaks, and I'm ready to hear their explanation
"He is lying"

I furrow my brow again, and notice that they try to merge the sabrinas again

It happens to quickly, and I panic, making myself revealed so I may at least tell them the truth

"It's not nice to lie, metatron" I had my hands folded over my white dress, and I had mindlessly forgotten I was in my angel form, with my wings draped across my back, a long white dress adorned my and gold jewelry covering me head to toe

Caliban was the first to turn around
"Eden?"

We make eye contact, and I feel my breath start to go a little heavier, but I needed to be strong, and help

"They had known, but believed you would try and save both of the sabrinas lives, which was close to impossible" I bow down as everyone looks at me, and gulp

Unbelievably Zelda is the first to speak
"And you didn't think to tell us sooner? Honestly Eden how long have you been there?"

I put my hands up in surrender "I had promised not to say anything, but Metatron crossed a line by lying to you"

Metatron seems to ignore our conversation, as they speak again
"The merge must proceed, or the rogue cosmos will destroy the three realms"

I look at them
"Metatron, tell them what the probability of the merge succeeding was"

They look to nobody as they speak up
"Fifty six percent"

Needless to say commotion started to arise, and how the only options between that was those odds
Or the sabrinas deaths

I looked at them laying down, they were still asleep, void to the world as they had partly merged

"Step away from my niece"
"And my daughter"

The next events were quick, almost too quick for anyone else, Metatron raised their hands trying to proceed the merge,
But I held my ground
"Order must be restored"

"Sibling stop!"
I held my hand up, freezing them from continuing, everyone else had quickly followed to back me up

"You forget, we are both celestials so do not force my hand"
I had not felt a rage like this for a while, my primal need to protect Sabrina had been kicked in full gear at this offensive move

"There will be order at all costs" I watch as Metatron tries to combat against my magick, losing my grip slightly

"Then you leave me no choice"
