It had been months
Maybe even longer
Time worked differently in heaven, I had been waiting everyday
For something to happen

My brothers were, careful, to say the least at first, for when I had come back, I think I was so numb they were afraid that one tap and I'd just break

I had become an archangel, but at what cost?
How long would it take until I had forgotten everyone? Until I could move on with my life, and how long would it take for them to move on with theirs?
How long until I would forget him?

I was practically dead now, a ghost of who I was as a guardian, I wasn't an angel allowed to walk the earth anymore, I couldn't die like what I would before, I didn't bleed, I didn't sleep, I barely even felt anything
Only for them

It should've been simple, this was my new forever, that's how it should've been
But things don't go how they planned, do they? Especially if Sabrina Spellman is involved

A chill arose this day, I looked up as I shook my head, feeling an awful sensation, and I knew that all the angels and demons felt it
Something had awoken, deep

I shivered as I brushed it off, walking over to my brothers, hoping none of us would mention it,
Or her

"Seems your witch friend is causing up another stir" I hear Raphael speak, and I freeze in place
"What was her name again? Sapphire? Samira?" A pang hit my chest as they spoke more, it had been months of getting over the departure, days of trying to convince myself it was simply a dream
Nearly a year since I said goodbye to him

"I think the name you're looking for is Sabrina, and may I ask why you're speaking of her instead of doing your duties?" I heard a loud voice behind me, seeing brother Michael standing tall, his voice quickly got the other angels to shut up, a silent thank you went in my head as they started to depart

I wasn't ready to think of everything again

I smiled slightly at michael, but he cuts me off before I can even speak

"Don't thank me yet
You're needed"

-TIME SKIP-

I followed Michael, concerned on where we were walking,
But with a swift move I could tell we were somewhere else already, and It didn't take me long to nearly break down once I had realized what, or who, I was seeing

The two sabrinas, huddled around a bright crystal
I struggled to breathe as I saw them, I felt my entire chest cave in, it had taken me months to move on, to try and forget everyone

"What are they doing?" I glanced up to Michael, an angel who always knew what was going on

And for once I saw him furrow his eyebrows in confusion
"I don't know" he turned to me and grabbed my hand, making me face him

"Eden,  I need you to do something, something big is coming
And I have no doubt your friend here will be the Centre of it"

I gulp as I nod
"Michael, what are you asking me to do?" I could already fear a dread coming to me, I knew the answer, so why didn't I like it?

"I need you to do what you do best, protect Sabrina Spellman" I look up at him and nod

"And of Sabrina Morningstar?" I see Michael stand back a bit, before speaking again

"You won't need to do that" he speaks quick, almost like he was trying to change the subject
What's wrong with the Morningstar?

"You won't need to speak to her, she won't even see you,
I just need you to keep tabs on what's been going on, I fear something dark is happening"

It didn't cross me to check where we are, it was a big and empty cave, it felt like things were trying to crawl up me but failing, dark thoughts tried to seep through my head, I could sense it, but they burned bright before it had managed to

"Banish this darkness" I hear both sabrinas shout, but it doesn't work, and as both sabrinas look up, their eyes turn black

"Michael-" I'm cut off by him grabbing my hand, and I nod firmly
She needs our help

I chant with him
"Ascha c health od Ascha c olpirt, push nalvage a ors c dosig"
In the back of my head I can hear some other people chant, some women
The coven
I see both sabrinas look up in confusion
"That's not the darkness, that's... Aunt Zelda, and Aunt Hilda, and the Coven" I see the Morningstar with a grin on her face
I can see Spellman freeze a bit, as me and Michael continue to chant, my voice wavering
"And Eden"
It makes my heart drop, I feel Michael squeeze my hand slightly, and I continue on

Both sabrinas follow their chants, me and Michael using our own to back theirs up,  and a bright light starts to fill the cave

They did it

Me and Michael nod, our work had been done for now
My work, a simple reminder of what would be to come, not able to say a word to her, we go to leave but I am caught by Ambrose's words

"You trapped an eldritch terror"
I feel my face pale as Michael looks to me, understanding that he had also heard it too

The eldritch terrors
and I came to realize in that moment, that this would be a lot bigger than what we had expected

And I realize, looking back now, a lot bigger than what I was prepared to lose
