Zianna handed her son a cup of tea, Garroth shocked at how warm it was in his hands. She looked sternly at him saying; "Drink it. It'll help you get some of your energy back."

It was later in the evening, almost early morning. It had been around two hours since Garroth was rescued and everyone knew there was a large elephant in the room. Well, two. One, Garroth was human and was completely uncomfortable in his own skin now. On top of that, Zianna had a lot of explaining to do.
Vylad and Garroth decided to sit opposite of each other. Granted, Garroth didn't exactly know why the brunette was acting so distant towards him. He wasn't clarified on the fact that this was in fact his half-brother. The mother in Zianna hated this, knowing it was already a rough start to their relationship and it was all her fault. She would usually lean on Jay for support but, he had gone with Aaron to drop off the car at the junkyard a few miles out of town. So, she was on her own for this one. Aphmau and Katelyn were left to awkwardly sit in the kitchen. They wanted to leave them be but, in a small apartment where the walls were paper thin, it was difficult to do so. Zianna bit her lip, shifting her gaze back and forth between the two.

"So...Mum,", Garroth raised his voice, nervously. "I don't want to pressure you about anything but, I was promised an explanation."

Zianna combed back her long black hair, thinking for a moment before; "Oh yes! Well, that can wait till morning! So, I'll talk to you then!"

She began to walk off to her room but, froze once she heard her other son raise his voice; "He deserves to know."

He was stood up from his seat, shifting in his feet. He was just as confused and nervous himself but, he needed to know. "We both do. As your sons."

The blonde's eyes widen, gazing at Vylad in disbelief. That was Aphmau and Katelyn's cue to leave, deciding that the bedroom was ultimately better. Of course, they planned to listen to everything but, this way it wasn't putting any pressure on them.

"S-Son?", Was all Garroth could muster out, glancing back at his mother.

Zianna fiddled with her fingers, saying shyly; "Y-Yes...I guess first things first...Garroth, this is younger brother Vylad. He's about two years younger than you. Pea...this is Garroth."

Vylad slowly walked up to Garroth. The blonde so badly wanted to stand and properly meet him but, his trembling legs it prevented him from doing so. The younger brother didn't mind though, as he let out his hand, Garroth taking it and giving it a firm handshake.

"It's great to meet you Garroth,", Vylad said, still having trouble to make eye contact.

"You too Vylad...,", Garroth replied, a small smile cracked on his lips. The two then looked over at their mother, expecting more. Zianna sighed, taking a seat on the couch next to Garroth, Vylad sitting next to her.

"So...Pea...I was born a mermaid in the city of O'Khasis and I married a man named Garte Ro'Meave. Garroth's father,", She began, looking into her youngest son's eyes. "There was a lot of pressure with the role since, well...he was the King of the kingdom. Being Queen had many trials, some I was not prepared for. I just loved Garte...so much when we were younger. He was the prince and I a simple farmer's daughter. We were inseparable and thought it would stay that way."

She bit her lip, now finding the memories so hard to remember. It broke her heart slightly thinking back on them, knowing that there was once a point where she did love the man she left behind. But, she continued; "When he became King, he became more distracted. Which I understood and I stood by him when he transitioned. Unfortunately, it took longer than expected and when he did finally melt into the role, he was different. He wasn't the same gentle man I knew. More stone-hearted and cold. Still, I took it on. As a challenge. I did my duties while also remaining faithful. That's when we had you Gar...and Zane."
