Garroth winced, feeling the alcohol touch his new scratch on his forehead. He didn't even realized that Ein hit him that hard. Aphmau held back for a second before going in again, a frown present on her face. Garroth felt guilty for doing what he did. He shouldn't have let Ein get in his head but...after seeing and hearing what he did to Aphmau, the sweetest person on Earth to him, he couldn't handle it.

"Aph...I'm sorry," He muttered out, looking at his hands in his lap. He was sitting on the toilet lid while she was handling her first aid supplies on her sink. Confused, she leaned back and asked; "What for?"

"For going that far...I should've handled my anger. You even told me to stand back..."

She smiled sympathetically at him, ruffling his hair before saying; "I only said that because I didn't want you to get hurt...and part of me thought I could handle it on my own. I don't know what would've happened if you didn't."

She put a bandaid on the small cut, him finding the thing cute since there was nothing like it back at O'Khasis. He looked at the box and asked; "What are those?"

He pointed to the childish design on it. Aphmau forgot that he still had no idea what it was, her smiling at his innocence. "Those are cats. They're pets here."

"Huh...have you ever had one?"

"Just one. As a kid,", She told him, inspecting the rest of him. "Does anything else hurt?"

"No...what about you?", He asked, looking up at her. She shook her head but, he knew she was lying. The red marks on her cheek and the bruising forming around her right eye was evident of that. He reached up, slightly grazing it, her flinching a bit. She sighed, knowing she was caught, and begrudgingly said; "Okay, just a little sore but, I'll be fine. Really."

Garroth exhaled, resting his arms on his knees. He didn't really know what to say. Both of them didn't really know. There was this tension in the room and they didn't know what it was. It was weird... Aphmau bit her lip and said; "Well, when we see Zianna again tomorrow, we'll discuss ways of getting you home. I intentionally planned today to be a relaxing day for you...I guess that kind of got ruined."

Garroth only took her hand, smiling in a comforting way. "I had a great day today Aph...I promise. I got to see so many things that I never thought I would."

"But you got hurt,", Aphmau added. "I could've just ignored his texts and-"

"And he would've told authorities."

"I could've continued to lie to him-"

"And he would've continued to insult you."

Aphmau huffed, realizing there was no better way. Even if she wanted there to be. She decided to put the first aid stuff away and asked him; "Do you want me to show you where you're staying?"

The blonde nodded his head and followed her to one of the rooms. Once she opened the door, he immediately noticed how purple it was. Anywhere there could be purple, there was. Yet, it didn't burn his eyes. It was perfect. "I assume that this is your room?"

"Was it really that obvious?" She asked, cocking an eyebrow while leaning against the door frame. The two laughed slightly before the blonde asked; "Where will you be staying?"

"Oh...the couch pulls out into a bed-"

"You're not sleeping on the couch. I'll go sleep-"

"No. L-Look," She sputtered out, a pink hue going to her cheeks, "let's just share this room. Okay?"

"O-Okay,", Garroth stuttered, his cheeks going bright red.

Katelyn walked past the two and smirked, knowing that the night might lead to something more positive. She said to them; "I'm going to go get my stuff from Vylad's place. I'll get your stuff too Aph. Aaron and him will stay here and make sure that Ein won't get into any trouble."
