The second Haven came back to her senses after the long night of sleep, she knew something was odd. There was just something different about the way she woke up.
For starters, the covers she fell asleep under before were now bunched up under her side making her lay in a somewhat uncomfortably angled position in which her hips just barely touched the mattress and her entire body weighed on her one shoulder.
Another reason was how the back of her fingers grazed against a surface that was definitely not the mattress, the blanket or her wand. It was warm. Soft yet tough. Haven hoped it might've been the wooden floor of Ginny's bedroom, warmed up by the sun that fell through the window but she was pretty sure floors weren't build to press into or feel this delicate.
The last and maybe most concerning change of scenery was how her ankle most definitely laid over another ankle that wasn't hers and how another one held her foot trapped.
Carefully opening one eye, Haven tried to look at whoever it was that was so close to her but instantly let out a shriek when she was met with Harry's face just inches away from hers.
His glasses were off, it made him look older than he really was yet his sleeping face - calm and fair - aged him down. Now he was so close to her she could spot the faintest hint of summer freckles on his nose, the crease from where his cheek met the bottom of his eyes was more visible since it usually only showed when he laughed, then the length of his eyelashes, brushing over the skin on his cheeks and how the smallest breath of air from Haven made them flutter slightly.
Haven hastily sat up, getting away from Harry's face as quickly as possible. She retracted her foot from between Harry's, back onto her mattress and with one more brush she got her hand away from Harry's toned stomach she was definitely not staring at. He must have taken his shirt off in the middle of the night.
Summer made Harry look very pretty, Haven thought before quickly adding that it wasn't because his shirt was off and she had a perfect view of his stomach and chest and how the early sun shone on his skin.
Definitely not because of that.
Haven tore her eyes away from Harry and looked over to Ginny's bed, finding it empty. Either Ginny was in her usual morning mood and didn't pay attention to however Harry and Haven ended up laying, or she did see it and Haven was going to get teased until the day she died. Maybe the last option was a little bit extreme but Haven didn't doubt that Ginny would be capable of doing so. Fred and George had a great influence on her personality.
Deciding it was best to keep Harry in the dark about the way they ended up, Haven silently got up and slid into some casual clothing, perfect for travelling. Without moving around too much, Haven managed to pack all of her stuff into the trunk that laid at the foot of her mattress and closed it with a satisfying click. With a flick of her wand, Haven made the trunk levitate through the air and took it with her down the stairs, leaving Harry to rest a little longer.
Downstairs was almost everyone already getting breakfast and packing the last things they needed. Alex and Percy were in the kitchen making breakfast for everyone, Mrs Weasley was folding laundry on the couch whilst Ginny plucked some of her stuff from the pile and stuffed it into her trunk, not bothering to make it tidy, and Fred and George were playing around with a long roll of parchment that turned invisible every time they held a quill to it.
Ron and Hermione weren't awake yet but Haven didn't expect them to be since she slowly learnt what they were like over the three days she spent at The Burrow. She wondered how they were going to work out an arrangement at Hogwarts.
"Want some eggs, Haven?" Percy asked her from over his shoulder.
"That'd be great, thanks," Haven smiled as she let her trunk levitate to the floor before sitting at the dinner table. Percy slid her a plate with an egg sandwich and a glass of milk.
