It had grown quiet in the bathroom where Harry and Haven still sat, huddled together in a comfortable embrace. Harry leaned back against Haven's body, his head resting on her shoulder and pressing faint kisses to her neck. Their eyes were closed - both sore from the previous crying.
"Are you feeling better now?" Haven asked Harry. Her voice was just as soft as Harry's, though hers wasn't nearly as hoarse.
"Much," Harry mumbled, not moving from his cosy position. His hands were playing with the arm Haven hadn't wrapped around his shoulders. He tried on his overly large rings on her fingers, handling her hand with utmost caution.
"Let's go somewhere else then, this bathroom floor is disgusting," Haven whispered, quickly pressing a kiss to the top of his head as compensation for breaking his relaxed position. That didn't help the soft whine that spilled from Harry's lips. "Give me your hands,"
Harry kept seated on the floor as he presented his hands to Haven who now had turned to a crouching stance so she could reach Harry's hands. Haven fished her wand from her pocket and fanned it over his bloody knuckles. It was still a sight to behold for Harry - watching his skin magically heal right in front of his eyes.
To finish off, Haven pressed her lips to each hand and got up with a wink.
A blush had finally made its way to Harry's cheeks.
Haven agreed to be with him - even just for two months. Harry could only sigh in wonder as to how he got so lucky. Haven Goldspear, wanting to kiss him and cuddle him. Harry couldn't wrap his mind around it. He wondered how different things would be now.
They would get to hold hands as they walked through the corridors or over the Hogwarts grounds, and people wouldn't think it to be weird. They could sneak out to one of their dormitories and no one that they left behind in the common room would feel the need to gossip about how serious their relationship was - everyone now just thought they occasionally shagged. Theo, Ron and Hermione were the only ones who had guessed there to be something more.
"You really had to wreck this wall, didn't you?" Haven sighed as she stared at the broken tiles with her hands on her hips. She knew she had no room to judge because of her past coping mechanisms but she never destroyed school property.
"Yeah," Harry said as he stood up and placed himself right behind her so he could put his hands on her hips. "Reminds me of you after that night -"
"You're such a dog," Haven rolled her eyes but the faint press of her body against his didn't escape Harry. She quite liked the memory.
With a smooth pull on her skirt, Harry had Haven turn around to face him and immediately pressed her close to his chest. His hand found its way up to her jaw, whilst the other travelled lower to her backside.
He could do that every time he saw her now - no matter where they were. Well, maybe they had to be careful as to who were around to see their public display of affection but no one would be confused anymore - just mildly disgusted probably.
"I'm going to do that every time I see you now," Harry told her, his grin stretching from ear to ear. Despite his meltdown just a couple of minutes before, Harry was confident he never felt happier than in this moment.
Haven just smiled up at him, amused at his excitement. Her heart fluttered at the knowledge of Harry feeling the exact same for her - he loved her.
Harry's hand made its way to Haven's and he pried her wand from her grip so he could use it to fix the wall. The shattered pieces rose from the bathroom floor and took their previous place so a shiny layer could plaster them all in place. Harry's Repairing Charm wasn't perfect - the cracks in the tiles were still very clearly visible - but it was good enough for no one to raise an alarm.
