Everything had gone right back to the way it was in February and all the students of their year noticed.

The only difference might be that whenever Harry and Haven sat together, the air was awkward rather than tense.

The two weren't able to look each other in the eyes before fleeing, conversations were rarely as long as they normally were, and not once did either of them sleep over in the other's dormitories.

For Theo, the whole situation was the worst. Like watching his parents' relationship go down the drain, he now saw the same desperation in their eyes.

On multiple occasions he tried to get Harry and Haven to have a normal conversation again but his mission seemed impossible. Every time he floated a subject to talk about with the two, Harry excused himself to Quidditch practice and Haven claimed she had to study for another Potions test.

"What has happened with you two?" Theo hissed at Harry when he found the boy in the library. "It's like you got divorced or something,"

Harry stiffened at that analogy, gulping at the image that flooded his mind: Haven in a beautiful white dress, smiling as they -

"You have such a major crush on her, even screaming it off the rooftop would bring less attention to it than the face you're pulling right now,"

"I do not have a crush on her," Harry defended himself as he re-shelved some of the books Hermione was done with.

He had been studying with Ron and Hermione a few tables further but couldn't find himself to focus on the class. Haven had taken up his mind, body and soul and he hated it. What use would his stupid feelings be if Haven was going to leave in two months?

"We're just ... taking things a little slower," Harry told Theo, ignoring the roll of his eyes.

"Yeah, right," Theo huffed. "Even that phrase sounds like you two have been in a relationship the moment you set foot in this castle at the start of the year,"

"Then how come I kissed you?" Harry said, in an attempt to prove Theo wrong but it didn't quite sound like that. He frowned at himself.

"Hey, we agreed not to talk about that!" Theo hit Harry's shoulder. "We were desperate,"

"You were desperate, I had Haven," Harry reminded him, pointing his finger at the Slytherin's chest. That was when he realised his mistake. Theo looked at him with knowing eyes, basically screaming 'I told you so' in his face. "Speaking of which, how is that date of yours going?"

Harry mentally patted himself on his back for his quick save but Theo gave him a dirty look.

"I'll let you off for now but only because I really need to talk to someone about this," Theo told Harry before pulling him by his tie to some other corridor where it would be harder for other people to overhear. "And don't get turned on by this, I know you like it when Haven pulls your stupid Gryffindor tie,"

"Hey!" Harry said indignantly. "Gryffindor ties aren't stupid,"

The two settled in the far corner of the library, right by a section of books no one ever checked out: Muggle history. Harry only then noticed the slightly increased circles under Theo's eyes and the way he rubbed his arms in a shiver.

"Are you OK?" Harry asked him concerned.

"I'm not sure," Theo told him, finally letting the exhaustion show on his face. "It's that boy I've been seeing: Bernard -"
