The next morning, Harry and Haven woke up in the exact same position as they went to sleep, they hadn't moved an inch. Only Harry's hand had slid up Haven's thigh a little higher. The shirts of her dress were bunched up over his arm.
Harry's head was still comfortably laying on Haven's naked chest. The warmth of her skin was heavenly in the cold winter night, even though, when he woke up, he saw goosebumps on her brown skin. Without being able to stop himself, he pressed a light kiss to the side of her breast again, and just seconds later, Haven let out a groan as she woke up.
"Good morning," Haven croaked out. Her voice was even lower than usual.
"Good morning," Harry hummed back. His arm tightened around her waist and his thumb caressed the skin of her thigh.
Haven craned her neck to look down at Harry, finding his dark-haired locks in her face, tickling against her cheek. She lifted one hand from his back and brushed the locks from his forehead, revealing that he had forgotten to take off his glasses that night. Haven straightened them on his nose.
"No regrets?" She asked him gently, continuing to stroke his hair. It was quite soft against her skin.
"Definitely not," Harry shook his head, a lazy grin appearing on his lips. Harry had to close his eyes for a moment so his eyes wouldn't roll back at the memory of that blissful pleasure. He doubted there was time and space for a repeat of that event since the sun was already shining through the high windows behind them.
Harry would probably have to wait a whole two weeks for something like that to happen again. They were leaving Hogwarts for the Christmas holidays today which meant two weeks at The Burrow with nearly every single member of the Weasley family. There would most definitely not be any privacy there.
Harry sighed at the thought. He knew he could and wanted to go further now but he'd have to wait so long for it to finally happen.
"What's wrong -?" Haven asked, but before she could finish her question, they heard the rumbling of the wall opening. Someone was entering, and Harry and Haven laid in a position that would not give them any innocent ideas.
"Fuck," Harry muttered the curse as he rolled off Haven and jumped up.
Haven stood up as well and quickly pulled the straps of her dress back over her shoulders and flattened out the skirts.
When they looked up they saw - to their great, great surprise - Malfoy step into the common room. His hands were casually in his pockets and he had clearly attempted to smooth out his hair on the way there.
He halted and one of his eyebrows rose when he found Harry and Harry hurriedly trying to pull themselves together and pretend nothing happened.
"Oh, don't even try, approximately everyone hooked up last night," Malfoy rolled his eyes.
Harry and Haven shared a look.
"Even you, I daresay?" Haven asked him, still straightening her dress out so it would look at least like it hadn't been crinkled and bunched up by Harry's hand.
"Wasn't your date Daphne Greengrass's little sister?" Harry asked as he took his jacket from the chair he left it on the night before.
"Isn't she in the sixth year?" Haven added.
"She's seventeen already, don't get any ideas," Malfoy rolled his eyes as he strode past them and hurried up the stairs to the boys' dormitories.
Harry and Haven looked at each other again, a weird frown on both of their faces as a reaction to Malfoy's odd behaviour. The blond ferret would have usually made fun of the way they looked - especially that morning - but now he didn't even bother sparing them a glance. What did Astoria Greengrass do to him?
